It’s notsomuch that I think there’s a magic potion. It’s just that I feel my improvement slowing down dramatically now, and I think joystick is part of why. Like I can get 90% of the way to the target most of the time but the outcome is still catastrophically bad. It makes me wonder if adding gyro or mouse, something known to have an advantage, would bridge that last 10%.

5. go to the gpu rating site, start from the lower ones & go upwards. watch youtube video of eternal gameplay on that specific gpu paired with different kinds of cpus. There are videos showing eternal gameplay on almost every gpu out there.
6. if your finances are bad, wait till things get better.

im pretty sure that the vram is the reason of the crash. it says how much is consumed in the menu like 4096/6553 or smth and when I turn the tex. pool size higher and highe the consumed amount increases and if it maxxed out the game dies

A RTX 2060 has no chance of doing that, unless you play at res scale 50 with further commands to reduce graphics even more.

OK, so the best strategy is to stay on top of the dome. They can't hit ypu that way. Lock on burst the hell knights and as soon as the cyber manncs spawn, fire a BFG from the dome across the room towards the big door. It should clear most of the arena
