They are the best, they nearly bridge the gap between console and pc players when it comes to aiming. I beat half the master levels on Nightmare in Gyro and now that I’m playing without Gyro I’m reduced to playing base game on Hurt Me Plenty while I relearn aiming.

BUT I didn’t play in handheld mode on Switch, only docked mode.

I had used stick only for Splatoon for awhile, then checked pros and ALL seemed to use gyro so I swapped. It was rough but I just redid the campaign with Gyro to build my muscle memory a bit. Best decision, it legitimately improved my performance significantly.

Again though that's just Splatoon, NO clue about Doom Eternal, and admittedly as weird as this is gonna sound, Splatoon is a bit faster paced than DE I'd say, at least in terms of needing to flick/track enemies etc.

You can put/keep crucible in dpad. It’s quick enough to access from there. You also get analog stick (r3) so you can put anything you want there, I have ssg. Then if you want dpad you can also get rid of mission information and mods but it depends. You can also customize the weapon wheel order to better suit accessibility.

Technically there's ways like "when they're jumping up to a ledge" as well I suppose

But much like FA, LOB can't Parry Marauders specifically so it's not good to start with those.

Not really a good point, Horde doesn't include 100% of what makes doom good. It's only the big battles.

Tbh the seraphim fight was pretty fun and a good boss fight

It still has the doom feeling because of all the demons he spawns which is what I think is what made the fight as good as it now is

That fight was also my favourite, because you had to focus on something other than the main boss.

To me, what makes doom so fun is I can fight so many things at once, and a boss kind of hurts that.

Another boss fight I liked in doom was the hell guards in 2016

Especially second phase
