yea the enemy gets an intro cutscene, but every other marauder has the same ai, moveset, health, and damage scaling

the theme argument also doesn't work because every marauder encounter afterwards is arguably harder

and at the point he shows up for the first time, you can 1 cycle him even if you're playing for 0% completion

he doesn't function like a boss fight would either, because everything he would test was already tested in doom hunter base

he recontextualizes that into a fight against something only slightly smarter than a pinky because he doesn't consistently give you a free parry into one cycle, unless you mash backdash at the start of the fight
