The biggest issue I have with PS-exclusive games is that they all have that 3rd person feel to them that makes them look the same at first glance. This is nothing against the gameplay though. I have horizon forbidden west next on my to-play list for the PS5, as well as wipeout omega collection.

I would recommend sticking just to exclusives if you do play more on your playstation console. I keep my 3rd party experiences to either xbox or pc.

No. The xbox one controller I use is the 20th anniversary one and it has a slightly different dpad than the standard one. It has diagonals on the dpad that don't do anything. But I haven't run into any issues with accidental / additional inputs when pressing a specific direction on the dpad. What I described earlier with the hammer not working might be a matter of the dpad button itself starting to wear out (I have run into this issue with RB on a previous controller before). Hope this wall of text makes sense lol

The Series X controller uses a different DPad than the Xbox One. It's a hybrid between the elite 1 and the traditional dpad IIRC. But idk much more than that

You should try and test what fits you, once you know what rune you want to go to finish harder difficulty, the game will be easier and you won't get confused.
