So I linked my Bethesda account to my Nintendo Switch account but apparently mistyped the email. It is now linked to an email that does not exist. The page to unlink the account cannot be accessed on Nintendo Switch. What do I do?

I used selected xbox as the plaform, yet in the message I said that was for my Switch. They unlinked it. I aslo told them about there was no way to select Switch and that was why I put the wrong platform.

Bug Report: had this for the last few days. First it flickers between two windowsizes (just the background/IG not the menus). After a while it stays at the wrong size and begins to flicker in place. It seems to happen when I have the game on for a few hours. It never starts like this. It always becomes like this somewhere in a play session.

So, I have travel plans that I had set in place for over a month now, too late to change, and I will miss the entirety of QuakeCon and miss out on getting the 2021 skin and such for DOOM Eternal. This happened with me last year as well. Is there any way that I could still be awarded the QuakeCon skin, icon, and player badge? I won't be back until early September anyway, so it's not like I'd be getting in ahead of other slayers

If you see that error with Nvidia or AMD graphics card, you need to upgrade your graphics driver. If you are on Intel, specifically X series, it is unfortunately totally not compatible

The game had something with the Ketchup theme where they fixed it with an update... Otherwise it happened when I moved the game files to a fresh install of windows. I fixed it with steam verifying game files.

Had you enabled cloud save feature prior moving to new PC? I had a backup of the save folder for the game and after copying them to their place I simply got them fixed by verifying game files using steam

Prior my current Nvidia GPU, I had AMD and with that everytime I had to refresh the game files with Doom 2016, Vulkan was a complete pain... However, Wolfenstein II is completely based on Vulkan and I have never encountered such error. Vulkan Doom Eternal only has problem with Intel graphics as I know. Search for the error in Google. Sorry of I can't be of more help.

Yo, I'm not sure if this is a known bug, completed Super Gore Nest and didn't miss a collectible. I finished the level but did not complete the Pinkie Unique Glory Kills challenge so I started the level again. When I loaded the level up the weapon mod challenge uncompleted itself. Wasn't sure if this was something already known in the community and if there was a fix.

Bruh, encountered another bug on Taras Nabad where replaying the level to get the sentinel battery completion can't be done as the Keeping Cool challenge doesn't proc on freezing demons with the Ice Bomb. This is the second bug I've encountered today idk if it's me doing something wrong or if I should just wait it out for the devs to fix it?

I've been reading that other people can't complete the 'Painkiller' challenge as well, not sure as I haven't gone far enough to test that one .

Hey guys, is doom eternal via Xbox app PC crashing a known issue?

So this is in light of the recent RTX/visual/performance update. I'm greeted with the RTX or Balanced pop-up box, and I'll choose rtx. Everything will run fine, and I can adjust any settings, except one.

If I then go and turn vysnc off, the game will hard crash, and that's that.

After the crash, I can launch the game, go through the intro scenes, and then just a constant hard crash loop

The only fix for this is to reinstall

So I finished the campaign and ancient gods 1 and noticed my weapon skins are a bit anemic. I had all the weapon mods finished for the campaign by either manually completing them or using mastery tokens on the ones that seemed more tedious, but now looking at the milestones they're just not completing. Googling around it seems like this has been busted since the game launched.
Is this ever going to get fixed? Or is my only option to start a new campaign and manually unlock those masteries if I really want those skins?

I am really close to getting the all treasures achievement, but it won't let me finish the ice bomb challenge or the 3 pain elementals challenge

when i purchased doom eternal through the 75% summer sale event on steam i bought the bundle that came with the TAG1 and TAG2 DLC Content, Multiplayer, and the "One Year Slayer Pass"(edited)
but when i downloaded the game and tried to open it i only had access to the DLC content and multiplayer
and when you click on the campaign a pop-up appears that says that you have to buy the game even though the campaign was included in the bundle
if you click on a link in the popup that's supposed to take you to the campaign purchase page it just takes you to the steam store
i'm not sure how to fix this and have seen other people have a similar problem online so i was wondering if anyone here knew what is happening and why

the Gunpletionist trophy didnt unlock after I finished my last Weapon mod upgrade, and according to the Milestone tracker, I'm missing 2 of them

I just fixed - or rather found - the issue of Doom Eternal hard resetting my PC.
Since I see some have the problem here as well:
In my case it was Philips Hue. When it's turned on, I wont even reach the main menu. If it is off the game starts. The second I turn it back on, well, reset.
It might be a problem with screen capture software, alas philips hue, discord screen sharing, steam broadcast, xbox livebar etc.

Hey folks, I tried searching this channel and found nothing, so bear with me if my issue has been answered.
I have been getting this issue where every time I gain XP, I re-get certain items from some of the previous ICYMI events (namely the "hot stuff" title, the "ironic doom fan" archvile skin, and the coffeeshop podium). If I have them equipped, they become unequipped when I re-earn them each time. Is there a fix? Should I redownload the game? Would unlinking and relinking my bethesda account help? Please advise, as this isn't game breaking, but it's damn annoying.

Is my second time I lost my save because he has no cloud save integrated in Bethesda software. I really regret to not have buy on steam edition.
The first time I have an old save with 2 hours less. I final arrive where I was with a lot a frustrating.

I just looked my mails with Bethesda support. For my issues with Doom Eternal account on Switch it took 3 days for them to respond my ticket.

For Rage 2, (Delux DLC, and not receiving event rewards) they took less than 1 day each time. So I guess you just have to wait a few days

Hey folks, idk if this is the right place to put this, but here it goes. Recently got a new laptop and everything's fine. Running Doom Eternal on max settings plus ray tracing. Till one day the game decided to stop detecting my entire VRAM. It's like 17 GB with the system included, but now it only detects the 6GB I have from my GPU. And that means I can't turn all the settings to max now, cuz it thinks i have less VRAM. Almost everything is max out, just textures are at high and I can live with this fps is still amazing, but if I can somehow change the VRAM thing so it detects all of it again that'd be great. The map should be visible in "master level" section of the game, even if it is unavailable.

It was a part of pre-order bonus content and it must be available after you beat the level (3rd level) in the main campaign.

Do you have the DOOT skin of revenant or classic shotgun skin in your account?

Your last resort will be buying the Rip and Tear pack witch contains those skins and the level.

So weird issue guys: I was trying to do a 2 pc streaming setup with a 144hz monitor on my gaming rig and a 60hz max capture card on my streaming rig, every game works perfectly in 144hz except for doom eternal, which always looks like it's running at half the framerate it's actually hitting. Xbox game bar for some reason starts working with doom eternal when the setup is in use too. Any idea what caused the problem?

Tried replaying the mission 4 times: twice in Ultra Nightmare and twice in Ultra Violence difficulty, archvile was bugged every time.
The direct shots just go through, but area damage like grenades and missile launcher hitting the ground damaged him.
It's quite an annoying problem tbh

Okay searched for a bit: try installing driver version 471.22

There's apparently some bug with game and some of the newest drivers.

Indeed related to accessing invalid memory addresses or smth. 471.22 should contain a fix or workaround.

Got it. I found 471.41 and 471.11.
I chose the higher version as .22 was not available.
The only difference is that it passed the company logos and showed the disclaimer before crashing. I'll try it harder tomorrow

Np :) next I'd say just uninstall the driver and geforce experience completely and reinstall newest driver. Driver only, no GFE. You could also use software called display driver uninstaller (DDU) to properly clean old drivers before reinstalling.

Btw about DDU if you use it, read the documentation first and you need an admin account and password. Though if you can install drivers you are on an admin account.

Are you sure you are trying to open the control panel and not geforce experience? I've never had to click i agree when opening the control panel. Right click on desktop and select Nvidia Control Panel. Also reboot system after driver installation.

Try adding "+r_PhysicalDeviceIndex 1" to Steam launch options, this should force Eternal to use a specific available GPU card! It worked for me, who had a similar problem.

Lately i've been getting moving frozen enemies, on both platforms. I've noticed that the distance between me and the demon might be the issue, as sometimes a revenant exits its GK state within .5 sec if im hovering around close to it, but far off it doesnt. For the frozen gargoyles, they just move around if im up close. Anyone else having the same thing happen? I know this is a semi old bug, but it seems to be popping up more than usual, at least nowadays post 6.4

I managed to solve the problem by myself. I went to the device manager, clicked on display adapters to see my two GPUs. The Intel GPU was working fine, but according to my computer the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 was having issues, so it wasn't using it. I disabled it and enabled it and somehow it was back to normal. My Computer was using the GeForce GPU again and I was able to access the NVIDIA Control Panel too. Pretty weird. DOOM Eternal works now too.

And yes, I'm sure I was not opening GeForce Experience by accident.

@rapid patio campaing is an add on so you need to download the battlemode first (I think). if it doesn't launch try going into the game options, than go games and add ons than to saved data and delete your saved data from the console((only from the console) than if you start your game again it sould say sinc for data). If it doesn't works than srry i Can't help.

No I did not. I recently reset my computer (for different reasons) so I no longer have to deal with it. I would recommend checking your files via steam or disabling nvidia broadcast. I’m sorry that I can’t help you any more than that.

Doom 2016 has engine cap of 200 fps, but you should definitely reach it. Switch to Vulkan renderer if you haven't yet, the game uses OpenGL by default.

I found what was causing the issue for me. It was DLSS. It takes a while for the issue to appear but once it does, turning off DLSS makes it stop, which is the only workaround I've found so far besides restarting the application: https://youtu.be/w6tF5w_GtQw

All games handle sensitivity differently, you just have to experiment.
Try to physically limit the mouse movement to something fixed in Aim Lab like a 90 degree turn. Then with the limits in place, adjust Eternal sensitivity to match etc.

Ah, okay. So, when I started up PRBoom + with the Ultimate Doom WAD, it acted like it was Doom 2, and was missing textures. The issue was that the port has a setting for specific IWADs, and was automatically set to Doom 2. What you do is while in game innthe main menu, you go to options, general, go to the second page, then at the bottom, you should see "use in game launcher." It showed "never" for me, and there are 2 other options: "smart" and "always." I chose "always" so it would let me choose the setting I need for the WAD(s) I want to play before it boots up the port.

Doom 2016 for me is crashing on launch and when I look into the crash report I don't really know what I should be looking for, I already tried reinstalling it and that didn't fix the problem, but even then I have no clue what caused this the game was playing just fine two months ago, but I did take a break to do some other stuff

you can do it via Apps but actually there is, Display Driver Uninstaller

it completely nukes any and all driver files from your system

just make 100 % sure you remember you admin password before running it as you must boot into safe mode to run it properly

Once DDU is finished and reboots, install the older driver right away. Otherwise Windows Update might start installing some other driver. Even if DDU claims it disabled this behavior.

manually download the exact version you want and run the installer

Safest bet is to go offline before running DDU, actually. But honestly I never had to do that

and from there you should go to program settings (not global)

find the entry for doom 2016 and scroll down the list, there should be a setting for forcing which GPU to use

You could try uninstalling them one by one next and seeing if that helps

starting from newest up to the time the game worked

i have a problem with my copy of 2016 that i got through steam for PC

i tweaked some of the graphics to lower levels and i changed the graphics API to vulkan

next thing you know when i load up the game the screen freezes on the "loading title" page and just sits there

i've uninstalled and reinstalled 4 times today and i've deleted all of my 2016 save data and caches on my local computer and it's still frozen

i don't know what to do at this point i've lost all of my old runs and progress and the game still won't load up

i think this has something to do with graphics API so is there a way i can switch the API back to default (i think OpenGL) from outside of the game or is my copy fucked permanently?

Asking this again but I found out if I run doom on my integrated gpu, Discord can stream it. But since my the integrated gpu is dog shit the game runs badly, but when I run the game on my other gpu it only shows a black screen for discord when I stream

Is the Series event bug (Last Chance) has been reported? (The ones that don't know: When you do 5 Challenges in a 1 Go until you get to Level 11+ It won't give you anything from under Level -11).
