hi, I have few bugs while playing doom eternal like chainsaw not finding target and blood punch activating instead of glory kill and at the start of every level after game launch I experienced massive fps drop(from 60 to 30). But in the last 3 days I have new glitch/bug. My aim and all movement including dash just freeze while environment works as normal. this happens multiple times in like 5 minutes of playing.

You have to press alt + tab and it's very laggy when I try to stream it
Ik turning down the stream resolution helps stream lag and I believe there's a certain setting you can disable to help more

The game launches and I can see it in Task Manager but as soon as I make the game full screen again it stops responding and closes. the first time i launched the game Doom Eternal, i have played it with no problem like one hour yesterday, and today i can not start the game. sometimes it doesnt even open and sometimes it opens and fails while starting to play. when it closes itself it doesnt give any warn it only close itself. my graphic card is updated. its 4gb geforce 1650 and my ram is 8 gb with amd ryzen 7 /3750hz.

So here is a rundown of the specs I have before anyone asks. 9900k, 2080 Ti (Aorus), Aorus Ultra mobo, and 32 gig 3200mhz ram. I’ve been having horrible freeze problems with Doom Eternal recently and I can’t for the life of my figure out how to stop them. This happens whether I stream the game or not. It will literally do this at random. It happened earlier today when I was doing the first level and it was in a demon-less zone of all places. It’s SO random. Stuff I’ve already done was updated my drivers, updated my windows software, reinstalled the game, and I even play the game on ultra low settings (which I have always done). Nothing seems to be doing any good to fix the problem.

And I always be sure to keep all unnecessary applications shut off

Hey guys, im trying to add boosters on xbox one x for doom eternal, and it wont let me add a third booster. Apparently a reddit user had this problem and made a post about it in april 2020 afaik. Is there a fix to this? Ive removed my boosters, re added them, reset my xbox, uninstalled and reinstalled doom eternal, and nothing worked. Not sure if this is the best place to post this, but I was curious if the developers at ID could look into increasing the weapon wheel response speed. I guess “hyper switching” according to @gusty yacht (is this the right guy? Lol)

As a console player, I’m able to quick switch just fine between two and sometimes get a third weapon out but far less quickly.

For whatever reason the wheel seems so much slower than 2016. I don’t know why but quick hold flicks don’t seem as responsive.

Just suggestively sharing as my gears are turning maybe a game setting that disables weapon switch tap in favor of faster weapon wheel would be nice.

I think some sort of examination of this would help those who want to utilize the entire roster of gear more efficiently since we don’t have KBM support.

You can compare 2016 to see the difference with controller. Also, if one loads 2016 Snapmap and enables/disables a camera object on weapon switch/wheel player input this will provide some insight to see a potential setting in Eternal that I’m suggesting. Doing so makes a very fast weapon wheel at the cost of no quick switch.

Pardon the opinion, but I’m seeing this as a borderline accessibility option kind of like aim assist sort of is. That’s all.

Hey guys, im trying to add boosters on xbox one x for doom eternal, and it wont let me add a third booster. Apparently a reddit user had this problem and made a post about it in april 2020 afaik. Is there a fix to this? Ive removed my boosters, re added them, reset my xbox, uninstalled and reinstalled doom eternal, and nothing worked. You CANNOT play at a 4k resolution on a monitor that only supports 1080p, unless you're talking about like virtual super resolutions, but I still wouldn't think it's ideal, and it's still only displaying 1920x1080 pixels anyways. Also, higher resolutions run worse, so if your build's meant for 1080, going up to 4k would not be great.

I beat the game, 100% collectibles, mastered weapons and option encounters but a very large portion of my milestones remain locked. 26/50

I have the trophies saying I have done the completions, but not the in-game awards. I thought it strange I beat the campaign and have very little to show for it.

Is the texture pop/fade-in gonna get fixed any time soon? It’s at a point where the game seems to sift through multiple layers of graphical quality before finally getting back to normal. And some extreme cases, textures will start off pitch-black before fading in. I’m on a standard PS4, by the way.

Hell, even the startup screen’s logo does it, along with profile banners and other things that don’t seem to be “textured” in the traditional sense.

Hi, does anyone experience this glitch where the normal weapon textures blend and get blurry. At the same time the doom soundtrack stops playing. Its been occurring everytime i play the game and its quite annoying to have the doom soundtrack stop. :/ Is there a way to fix it?

Hey, I recently had to reinstall windows and I wanted to getback my save of Doom eternal - that I got trough the bethesda launcher (was 90% through Ancient Gods in Nightmare...).

So before reinstalling I had copied the content of C:/Users/<me>/Saved Games/id Software/DOOMEternal/base to an external drive. Now I am copying this content back to the same directory. But, when I launch Doom eternal these saves aren't detected by the game 😦

For about a month and half the master levels have still been soft-locking for me. When the patch for the SGN ML came out, all the master levels worked properly, but all of a sudden it just started doing this.

If it means anything, I have 3 mods enabled: The Gangsta Spongebob Heavy Canon scope, Golden Weapon Pack, and Viewmodel FOV.

I have completely re-installed DOOM Eternal to try and fix this, and have verified integrity via Steam.

Honestly have no idea what more I can do after completely uninstalling the game.

first of all check if your motherboard supports the CPU u want to buy (Chipset Compatibility)
Then you just power down your system, remove the heatsink, pop out the CPU and carefully put the new one in.
Put a little bit of thermal paste on the CPU and install the heatsink. Make sure to remove old thermal paste from the heatsink before installing it back.

Also, when you install your new RAM. The first time u boot up your PC. The screen will stay black for a while!
Do NOT power off ur PC. The new RAM needs to be "trained" and that takes a while. So do not panic ^^

Trying to get multiplayer to work for Chocolate Doom. Says it won't connect to the master server. Forwarded the correct port & it still doesn't work. I am using Crispy Doom.
