Why are the doom eternal milestone menus so flawd

I have a 100% run and got all the achievments for it, but when i started a new game (without deleting the 100%) it says all of the milestones were incomplete

So i did the milestones, and then started a new game, and then the milestones were no longer completed

Im currently attempting to do the "Cant perfect perfection" and "running up the high score" milestones but plan on deleting the game i did them on

Will that get rid of the milestones in the menus of the game?

And if so, that is very bad

As far as I'm aware they have no plans to support integrated graphics but I've heard there's ways to get around it and still play the game, so try looking around on the internet for ways to play it on your graphics card

So, just ran into 2 bugs for TAG pt 1. First off, the trial where we fight 2 archviles and a doomhunter? That whole arena was fucked up, I spent half my time there killing fodder, waiting for a heavy to hop in. Two, or three, spawned in the beginning, but the other two or so never showed up for a solid minute and a half or so.

^(and, yes, i wasted a BFG shot. Usually I presumed this to be "heavies spawned in, but didnt jump into the arena". However, the heavies didnt spawn in, or, if they did, were too far off from the BFG projectile, despite me shooting it straight down the middle of it)

Second, the boss fight where the enemies are supposed to die immediately after you finish the last fight, dont die.

I've tried multiple times to get my download code from GameStop (once on the 8th and then again today) only to be told that they have no clue what's happening. Hello, is anyone experiencing issues with the photo mode in DOOM Eternal? I can't open it When I press the button, the screen darkens for a splitsecond and goes back to normal this didn't used to happen when the game first came out I changed all sorts of settings, reset to default, did lots of stuff but it just doesn't work. I also get this error message in the console:

I have found a way to surpass this, which is to do "Ctrl + Right Alt", I have no idea why that works, I've just seen that online. But it is not ideal when I need to open photo mode during combat

Hey I have an issue with the Doom 64 reedem code, I just bought Doom eternal for my switch and I received the code for Doom 64, but it doesn't work, neither in the eshop, nor the bethesda launcher

I seem to be capped at 60fps in fullscreen mode. However borderless or windowed can go upwards of 200fps.

• Vsync and all similar settings disabled in-game (everything is set to lowest possible)
• NVIDIA geforce settings has been completely customized and I've gone through every single setting to increase performance and adjust anything that would cap fps.
• "fullscreen optimizations" have been disabled in the file properties itself for the game and the ID launcher
• "Game mode" for windows also disabled as I've heard it can cause issues like this.

Does anyone know anything else I can try to disable the cap?

hey guys, I have two save files that are frustrating to play with, since it seems my sticky bombs have permanently disappeared on one, and I can't turn off the slow motion rune on another. When I launch the game it changes my desktop resolution to pixel hell and same with the game. I can't change it back to 1080p until I close Doom E. Only does it with that one game.

I think I found a glitch that's keeping me from getting a weapon point in ARC Complex (Campaign) on Switch. I'm stuck at 9/10 Demonic Corruption and one combat area stays red no matter what I do. The area where VEGA tells you about the ARC entrance being blocked by those tentacles & the turrets needed to destroy them. Is the other half of the fight not loading or something? Plus the environment disappears for a sec when I air-dash near the broken up truck. Is that related? I've tried redownloading my game & that didn't fix it.

Good evening everyone. I'll try to make it as clear as possible, because gosh Im tired of this right now x))

So. I made a complete reset of my Windows this week end, it started being laggy and HDD was filled with junk. I stored every single important file on a safe online drive. Including the 57 GB Doom file from the Bethesda launcher folder, thinking it was my Doom save. Quick note: thanks to the dumb PC Gamer article who assured me that this will allow me to keep my game save. Fool I was.
Annyway, as you might know (I personally just learned about it..) the game save / profile are stored in some random Windows folder called "Saved gales", located in your /User folder. I of course didn't back up this one.

Now, here is what I did:

-Tried to use Disk Drill to backup my HDD before the Windows overwritting. It brought me tons of junks, but after 2 days of scrolling, I couldn't find anything that looked like a profile.bin or gamesave.bin, either weight or date of erase. Probably because when I launched the game again on my fresh new windows, it created a brand new Save folder, overwritting the old one. Still need to be sure that there is no way to get back an overwritten file... but yeah pretty unsure for now.

-I also tried editing the existing profile.bin and gamesave.bin, to maybe replace some lines of code and get my Doom level back so as my UV 100% save (I was about to start the final episode of the DLC ffs). Found some weird Python program made by a russian dude on Reddit who could allow me to do that, but it was poorly explained and based on self knowledge of json code. I don't know a single ### about that, so I spoiled the last 2 days trying over and over to do so, no success.

And here I am now. Im an honest player and a honorary slayer just desperatly trying to get what I've earned during months of sweat, fun, and perseverance. Im not even salty. Im just exhausted. I barelly have time to play the game, and when I do I try to enjoy it as much as possible. I've waited so long to get vacation to finally be able to beat the DLC that came out months ago, and me and my friend were hoping to get into battlemode together for hours of fun during holidays. And now everything is just ruined. I just need a tiny bit of help, please.

So I purchased the Doom Eternal Year One Pass thinking that it would include the base campaign. I asked about this yesterday and was informed that it doesn't. ok. found that post you were talking about. It required going to steam via browser and not logging in. Add the standard edition to cart, click "purchase for myself" and then it will require you to login in. After that it allows you to purchase and it gives you a prompt that you already own it and won't receive extra copies. Purchased and now it is showing up in my game properties under DLC tab. Should be fixed now.

Alright, so I got the support email yesterday from Bethesda regarding my issue. They said that there should of been 2 codes with my purchase. I had only gotten 1 (tge doom 64 code) and it also showed the preorder dlc with it. So they asked for a pic of my receipt, and I sent one. They told me that I can either check for a code for the R&T pack (which I already told them I didn't receive) or try the "Reconcile Entitlements" button in the Besthesda.net tab. It did not work and I told them that it didn't work. I have yet to get a response after that

For such a high-tech piece of software this was honestly a shitty first impression. The fact I have to disable controllers IN steam. Outside the game just to get it to work properly is off-putting. Hopefully I don't encounter anymore issues that you would likely find in an indie game.

Hi, I purchased Doom Eternal Collectors Ed and as a result I had to use the Bethesda launcher. It's been nothing but trouble since a week after installation. Now that Eternal is discounted on steam, I'm thinking of just biting the bullet and buying it again. What I would like to ask is how DLC is handled if I switch to steam. yea it is synced. I also should add: I can play around 10 minutes without it. Everything is alright, I'm connected, and after a certain amout of time it pops out again. Can't even get in a battlemode lobby

Either its a server side problem or ur ISP has trouble connecting to that specific server.
Try rebooting/restarting your router/modem and try again. Otherwise open a ticket at https://help.bethesda.net/

@flat shell are you sure that doom isnt using your integrated graphics

Check in Nvidia configuration of it uses your graphic card

Also check if you've update your graphic driver

I have a weird issue so baisically when I have colour blind mode enabled it turns the entire map (the map to show where your going not the actual scenery and stuff) black and at first I thought it was just an issue on my pc but it's happening on my ps5 now so if anyone can help that would be great it's going to be hard to play once I get to the Marauder if I can't have it on.

I solved the error "Unable to contact game services" in doom eternal's xbox pc application. It is necessary to update the computer from Windows Update to 20H2.

I beat the game with no cheats or mods and with out losing connection to Bethesda.net collected everything. Mastered all guns without using medallions and I’m missing several milestone on mastering the guns and a couple others. How do I get the milestones. ?
