To get eternal to work I set minimum to 512 and maximum to 10,000 and it stopped crashing on start up

Hello, when I launch the game it freezes during the loading screen. I searched around on the internet and it says to verify the integrity files in the steam library. The problem is that I've bought the game from the Bethesda launcher. I linked my account to steam but it still doesn't show up in the library.

I've tried older drivers in case if the freezing gets fixed.

I've tried downclocking and overclocking, I tried to do something with enabling and/or disabling Vulkan software it didn't seem to do much either.

Currently all of my drivers are fully updated.

@mild sedge the problem is actually with nvidia and not doom. I have tried absolutely everything to fix the problem (support gave up on me) but the problem completely goes away when you use an amd gpu

hey everyone! maybe you might have an idea/solution as to what is going on. When the game launched, Eternal ran perfectly fine, no issue. But over the past few months there have become this huge performance degradation that brings my system to a halt and I have to quit the game. No other game does this, and again Eternal used to run flawlessly. I've uninstalled and reinstalled a few times, submitted a ticket to Bethesda, etc and nothing has worked. I'm including a youtube link of a capture I did, including my video settings. The issues don't get real bad till about 2:30 into the video but if you watch leading up to that you can see pixilation starting happen on objects that leads into the issue at hand.

My roommate is trying to play the steam version of Doom Eternal for the first time; however, the game won't launch. Steam acts as if he's playing, but no window is created, and it doesn't appear on task manager.
He said that updated his GPU drivers, verified the game cache, made sure the game is using the high power GPU instead of the integrated graphics, tried restarting both the steam and his computer multiple times, ran it as administrator, reinstalled the game, and put the .dll files from DOOM 2016 into the directory (a solution according to https://www.reddit.com/r/Doom/comments/flo53f/doom_eternal_not_launching/ ) yet still nothing.
He's using an ASUS laptop with 16gb of RAM; Nvidia GeForce GTX 106; Intel corei7-8750H CPU with 2.2 GHz. Here's the link if he left out any information. https://www.asus.com/us/Laptops/ASUS-TUF-Gaming-FX705/

go to steam on browser (not logged in) -> add dlc to cart -> check out -> itll ask you to log in, log in on browser and purchase -> download the dlc in client

DOOM Eternal deluxe edition comes with DOOM Eternal and The Year one Pass. The Year One Pass gives you the ancient gods part 1 and 2(when that comes out). The ancient gods part one just gives you that DLC and nothing else @uneven basalt is that what you wanted to know?
