Hello! I have few more weird questions:
Should I start to record Doom playthroughs and would anyone be interested? My channel is mostly modding related and not about playthroughs and I don't have many views, nor know does my subscribers want such content.
If someone has activte Youtube channel (especially related to Doom content): how do you approach this usually?

I'm currently playing Eternal and have 3 playthroughs for it:

• Minimal upgrade run on Easy.
• Not very popular upgrades on Easy.
• Regular Nightmare playthrough (abandoned for now, since I don't want currently any challenge for casual me).

I plan to make normal playthrough for my Doom 2016 main mod, but don't know, when it would be better, since after 1+ year still didn't post updated version, since update isn't finished yet.
Also plan to do minimal upgrade run on easy/normal for 2016.

Want to return to Dark Ages too someday.

Issue I don't know, if anyone would be interested and should I even "ping" my subscribers regarding it. Like when I recorded Postal 2 playthrough, I didn't "ping" (edited: I mean ping - send notifications about video release) anyone.
It's interesting for me to play, but don't know about it as a content to watch. I don't use camera or mic, so it is just "no comment" gameplay from casual player with no special skill. Plus recording would require at least minimal editing and if it's irrelevant it would clog my channel, which is mostly related to specific topic. In a way it would even clog YouTube with content, which isn't relevant to anyone, lol.

But, I guess I try to record it and if anything would just delete it later. Thanks again. 🙏

I almost never use it in 2016/Eternal. I play on a ground with not much acrobatics and rarely try to dodge projectiles while jumping/in air. Mostly use dash for extra movement. Basically, if to play it casually, it's definitely not a must and may take slot from some other useful Rune.

I often use longer stun, extra chance to survive (at least on Nightmare) and equipment related. In rare cases, launch from far away for GK.

But one with faster GKs is probably also good for me - I periodically notice that even with longer stun I want that extra time to do more GKs in short period of time.

getting into the air in eternal is very helpful, and the more you do that, the more helpful air control will be

I'm not used to it, indeed.
I don't want to play via air much. I also don't quick switch or do other techs/tricks. I just play it casually. And even no upgrade for faster recharge for Dash messes with my movement at the beginning of a game.
I play often via GKs (so Dazed and Confused), often use frag grenade/flame belch (so Equipment Fiend) and like extra chance not to spend extra lives (Saving Throw or at least one more GK related Rune), if I die. I guess, if I ever try to play more with Blood Puch I also would try BP Rune (probably least used).

That's unfortunate. I wanted to try melee orientated run someday with 2 extra mods, but I guess, this one won't help. But I generally don't like BP, espcially non upgraded one and we can't upgrade it manually without progressing through a game.

I have one more question regarding recording Eternal.
I record with OBS and it doesn't seem to like Eternal and vice versa. I turned off "compute" option in Eternal to make it better, but it feels a bit weird in terms of gameplay. I also turned off Ray Tracing, since PC doesn't seem to like both recording (1080p) and playing Eternal at max (1440p).
Is there any way to befriend OBS with Eternal with "compute" option on and record with RT without decreasing graphics? Would any other recording program like CapCut be more friendly with Eternal?

2. OBS (recording program) breaks, freezes PC for a while, lead to black screen for a game.

i prefer full demoknight on maps like ctf or when im defending. Easier to farm eyelander heads there. Mostly though i sort of figured out my pipe aim and it usually prefer stock demoman

recently though I've created a new playstyle for myself called "Doom Soldier" where I use the direct hit and one of the two shotguns to mimick Doom Eternals gameplay as much as possible, sometimes I quickswap to stress the hell out of the enemy

i play most classes outside of scout, sniper and spy. Their too weak and it's easier for me to help my team with literally any other class. Spy is fun for backcapping in dustbowl doe, and sapping
