Nintendo had always been bad about game pricing, they knew their audience supported their practices so games never went down in price no matter how old they are: NSMB still full price going into the end of the 3DS era, etc. Then they discovere dAmiibos and abusing artificial scarcity and even replicating that digitally with limited timed releases to induce FOMO to get a large amount of gauranteed money from their Disney-esque consumer base.

Switch 2 is a massive hit, very unlikely it will go down in price until they want to sell a model revision that has the bare minimum changes (new screen).

Game Freak is technically a different company but obviously they are even worse.

I'm completely against watching a video with an AI translation voice-over. As a voice acting and dubbing fanatic, I find their existence insulting. It also gives people less reasons to learn languages
