On a single players profile, you have to collect all items within a single save. If you open another save with extra life mode, you just need to have more than 10 lives remaining at the end of the game (I think it's 10)

It didn’t support as many wads as 1+2 because it was limit removing and didn’t go up to mbf21/id24 like 1+2 does but you could totally load wads
