The game isn't hyper-realistic at all.

It's still decently realistic but there's a lot of things that are very arcadey.

realistic in the sense everything would make sense in the actual world

things like an ammo counter and such would have an explanation, the HUD genuinely immersive (Republic Commando style)

though, with the former, that'd mean some guns would straight up not have an ammo counter

mainly older weaponry and weaponry that wasn't made by whatever military you're in

as I'd sorta go how Cyberpunk explains it
