I was doing a secret encounter and it was against two elite zombies and a marauder, I was respawning them so I'd have enough ammo and health to properly go against the marauder (I'm inexperienced in dealing with it quickly, he is a heavy hitter too quick for me) when I was full on ammo I was working on getting enough heal when I backed into the area where the marauder can't go, probably because of some invisible wall, I jumped and the marauder died instantly for some reason and I completed the encounter
Now I have been playing the game for a week but I'm pretty sure marauders don't die that easily and quickly

I love face blurring in horror games, because to me it feels like when you experience something traumatic and block it out. The game is recalling the memory but you just can't remember what they liked like because your mind blocked it out. I think the premise of the "world" is like, people are so used to not seeing faces and not hearing actual speaking that it's engrained in everyone to just see blurred faces and weird mumbling noises that.. somehow they still understand as words?
idk though, i'm pretty sure theres AI used in the game cause there's a ton of incredibly high detailed art that looks too uncanny.
And a lot of the voice acting for the goth chick says some really weird things, like it's poorly translated.

Originally they outright banned AI generated content in games.
and I wish they kept it, because it was such a fucking intelligent decision.
The pre-generated content restrictions revolve arouhnd any art, code, sound, etc created with the help of AI tools cannot be found to cinlude illegal or infringing content, and the game has to be consistent with its marketing.
which.. 99% of "AI tools" include illegal of infringing content, because all it does is steal from everywhere to generate its garbage
and I wish steam had a real stance and outright said "If you use AI generated content, your game will not be permitted on the platform."

The game is pretty old and is called "Metro," so I wasn't expecting anything huge or open world. If anything I was expecting just that, tunnels and corridors. I loved the games underground atmosphere and society and world building that it offered, I was extremely immersed throughout my whole playthrough. I also really loved the atmosphere on the surface. You start the game there in one of my favorite game openings I've played, and when you see it again it's just as appealing imo.

Oh yeah when we were talking earlier about bad or uninclusive settings menus, I was going to bring up metro but I think I forgot. Honestly I think the only settings you can change are your sensitivity and aim sensitivity (i play on max for both and it still feels low), subtitles on or off (and not all lines have subtitles, for some reason), crosshair and hit markers on or off, and volume settings, which I think is literally just "Master Volume" and "Music Volume". Pretty primitive imo, definitely wish there was more customization

Hey you can still play the original trilogy on it, still a good system I'd say. You should look into selling it and putting in the extra dollars (if necessary) into an XOne if you want a temporary solution to play the modern games, sure you'll miss out on TDA but it'll at least keep you occupied for some time :p
