So with crafting there’s different tiers of weapons/grenades/cyberware/etc that you can obtain. Tier 1 is just the basic common items. Tier five is your equivalent to legendary drops. To craft a specific piece of gear you need 1) the right number of components and 2) the crafting spec for it. Crafting specs can be obtained from gun shops. Components can be obtained from dismantling weapons and from hacking mini games. As a new player I’d suggest sticking to doing ncpd shootouts (killing enemies where there’s a ncpd logo on the map) and gigs (the blue box with an exclamation mark on the map)

I haven’t dived too deeply into quick hacks, but there’s several different types of quick hacks you can buy from netrunner shops (looks like a computer chip on the map) and the more powerful ones (I think there’s one that makes enemies into friendlies for example) they require higher amounts of ram. In a quick hack build this is your main resource, and it constantly regenerates. To get more ram, you have to go into a ripperdoc and buy and install a higher tier ram into the “operating systems” tab.

If quickhacking seems jank, there’s also the berserk operating system that lets you run while for a set duration, giving increased speed fire rate and other positive buffs. Or, you can choose to get a sandevistan, which allows the player to slow down time for a short duration, setting up headshots or allowing the player to readjust positioning
