But on the other hand, the fact that Hugo is revealing so much information about the DLC and that he has spent a relatively good amount of time experiencing the DLC, plus the fact that Riptarium 3.0 is supposed to be released with the DLC and there has been no news of an update for about 3 months, indicates that the DLC will be released relatively soon, less than 3 months.

- Saved 2-3 months of pre-baked lighting (Per Map)
- Raytracing was used in gameplay (Hit Detection-Sounds)
- Saved 40-110gb of space

the gtx 1650 has some ray tracing functionality since it was released on similar architecture to the 2000 series, hence why it is technically capable of running tda

Had to jump to 5070ti to get a lot of frames and high graphics
id has always made games that push the limits of current technology yet still run excellently, and tda is no exception
we’re very lucky with id because not many companies are doing weekly streams just playing their games
I would say the thing that "hurt" sales were the change of gameplay-style and i suppose the price
also agreed with that, the way they're loading the shaders is off this planet, apart from other games like that shit star wars game or borderlands 4 where it was running REALLY BAD on a 5090

Maybe they'll start showing concept art in the next 2 weeks. This is all hypothetical and they know better. But I'm pretty sure they're almost done polishing, reviewing, and finalizing the DLC.
Also I've seen a few folks talking about the fact that Hugo said that the DLC is really big but then again he said that it's not going to be something super crazy. Imo the DLC might just cover what happened before and at the Expedition of Nekravol at max because he did indirectly confirm that the DLC will make ties with the lore established in DOOM (2016) and the Argenta Civil War.
So in short, the DLC will cover what happened directly after the events of the base game and that in itself, is really big
in terms of story it wont be something super crazy tho, right? i think thats what was mentioned previously, not about the length of the dlc

Considering the amount of things that are there in the DLC, I wouldn't be surprised if they make the new enemy ai worse than Komodo
He said that DLC won't be as hard as TAG 1 because that level of difficulty would be saved for the Slayer Gates and Master Levels
I do think the DLC would need the players to master the pre-existing loop in order to play conveniently at least but won't be a skill jump like Eternal base campaign to tag 1
doesnt mean it wouldnt have a higher skill ceiling than the base game
especially when the difficulty will be increased to those levels in some of its hardest encounters

The problem is that I am running out of patience. That's why they don't give a release date for the DLC. If they did, it would have been easier for me to wait, but now we are in a mess.

there is some sort of Bug in Forsaken Plains level.. I am just at the beginning of the level and it already shows I have wraithstone, health, armor and ammo upgrade, all golds, and some collectibles.. whats going on? I guess this might be the reason why I didnt have 200 hp in the end of the game?

this is a common bug thats been happening for a while
and it happens randomly on many levels
if you dont have everythings location memorized youll have to check if its bugged at the start of the level and keep looking at the map thoroughly to make sure you dont miss anything
ok thanks for info, because on my first playthrough I didnt have all health and armor upgrades and still had everything 100% and was kinda dissapointed, but at least i can say i was able to finish game on nightmare with only 170 hp and 130 armor max

it doesn't help that the Icon fight is kind of clunky at times
tldr: Both are fun but Reckoning feels way more solid as a whole imo
i also like that reckoning has what's basically a pre final boss which is the Vagary champion fight return

one thing I prefer about Dark Ages in comparison to Eternal is that those big flatter arenas work better bc you have the option to actually parry projectiles, In Eternal when you have a big ass open arena it just devolves into "keep moving right or left to dodge the barrage"
pretty much why I find the last big Final Sin arenas boring outside of the Marauder encounter

i think i've only used the bfc for the missions that require it
no mission truly requires it, but I only use the bfg in the Holt and Final Sin
Final Sin due to those eh huge arenas and the Icon and The Holy purely bc of the Possesed Pain Elemental
the BFC is actually a scary weapon to use in a UN run
because it's no longer an amazing panic button, since pulling it out at low health also loses your shield, plus you actually have to hit your shot instead of just launching the thing into the air
i think on eternal i may have also used it against an arch vile
well yeah, the arenas in Spire where you get the the bfc are 100% duable without the BFC but a pain in the ass, compared to Eternals first "bfc arena" with the cacodemons not really needing it
yea the no shield makes it hard

outside of Spire and maybe Belly of the Beast in that one acid arena sometimes I don't use the BFC at all
still if that shot actually lands it honestly feels more destructive than the bfg imo

although you know the komodo leader in harbor of souls was getting insta-deleted on sight

Funnily enough the Komodo theme or Ancestral Beast was my least liked since day one of playing because I had a bug where the heavy double time section would constantly play during every encounter, no build up or light combat. After hearing it again over time it grew on me

Dark Ages is only on current gen systems
ps4 simply doesn't have the RT capabilities nor the required performance to run Dark Ages

blood makyr but terrible
just throw the shield and use shredder when caco not firing at you
the purple wall attack might be one of the worst attacks in any doom game period, invulnerability and a weird dodging game
But i have an army of demon shooting at me 
if the caco only had the parry-able projectile I'd like it
