eternal's gunplay is very free and creative, if you don't impede yourself

I remember the strat for dealing with marauders was to bait out their axe throw and then they'll rush you with the green flash attack 100%. But the buffed versions would just run up to you, stare you down for a couple seconds and then shoot you anyway because fuck you

some demons are actually good to have possessed, succ as the caco where it'll refocus its tokens to closing the distance to the player instead of shooting energy balls, which essentially makes it a mobile meathook node. and obviously killing the spirit both puts you at risk and consumes plasma ammo (65), so it can be better to just let it possess a weakened enemy such as an arachnotron without its turret and then leave it for the end
