3 cybers with hitscan and their mapwide spikes are probably impossible without the bfc even if you removed the other 3 superheavies lmao

Though it feels possible, especially when you get 10 back to back parries. Take out the supporting Cyberdemons and Komodos for a more balanced experience, that one is easily possible.

Yeah I tried setting up heated shield soldiers and energy shield soldiers to give you a fighting chance. Iāve nearly been able to beat it without the BFC, I do think itās possible but itās definitely headache inducing lol

except its base damage is so much lower than the SSG's that I wouldn't be surprised if the ssg actually dealt more damage at long range than the combat shotty did

Also, in chapter 5, if you have tutorials off, you skip that first part which teaches you how the dragon sections work. That first section has a ship for you to kill. Doesn't the mean your missing out on that gold from destorying the ship? also you don't complete the challenge by destroying 3 ships as soon as you would before?

It doesnāt. I would know, I tried finding 5 gold pieces I missed in Spire of Nerathul for hours and even checked those Hell Fighters to see if they rewarded gold or not. They donāt. As Katsu stated it just reuses the gold visual and VFXs on destroyed.

so you can get 40 armor if you end up hitting 5 heavies and 10 fodder

whereas the flail is just ass and the combat shotgun is mediocre at best
so if you're gonna use one of the three for armor it might as well be ground fissure
except against bosses--auto turret actually kinda messes them up

Speaking about Mace and ground fissure, before this patch you could literally abuse ground fissure to quickly recharge your Mace charges (you can check underthemayo) it was broken lmfao.

you do realize there are sliders you can adjust if the game feels to casual for you right? and mindlessly quickswitching even if it were as fast in dda wouldn't get you very far like in eternal. because you need to be blocking sometimes, doom guy isn't as nimble, he can't double jump, dash, or meathook, so quickswitching constantly will leave your defense open. it should just be somethiog done once in a while for stylish/cool factor

on 150% gamespeed, the largest delay you'll ever encounter is 0,5s, and that's only after the rocket launcher
all other weapon switch animations are significantly faster

- Don't use it the way which makes you feel casual
- Adjust difficulty sliders

So you are significantly reducing the shield's utility and complexity by making this claim

this is literally what i've been saying. because you can quickswap in DDA doesn't mean it's as useful as eternal. like sure you can do it every onnce in a while to look cool, but ultimately, that's not the most optimal or even the most fun way to play. so people that keep complaining of them adding it back just doesn't make sense to me. just don't use it

i can only imagine what a ng+ means for a game where you can freely go back to chapters
I did mine on NM, 120% speed, tightest parry window. I completed it on the Kahlim map. It gives you enough cover where youāre not constantly bombarded by projectiles

my fav difficulty slider combo rn is parry level 2, 110% speed, 50% daze, and min. resources.
Youāre free to do it however you like tho. If you want a less headache inducing challenge just remove the extra 2 Komodos and Cyberdemons. Still challenging enough

If you really wanna try and beat it with no BFC absolutely target the revvies first, switch to vampirism rocket launcher to stack up health when youāre low. Thats what helped me lol

i just tried the ssg shield hotfix this morning, and everyone yesterday that were saying they added quickswitching with the hotfix is completely wrong. Shieldbashing and quickswapping is still faster than regular weapon switching. whatever you're feeling as quickswitching was literally there since update 2, which was the overall increased weapon swap speed. And if you think that's not the case, record yourself doing the quickswitching, vs shieldbash quickswitching, and see which one's faster. And if it's possible, downgrade your game, or disconnect your game from the internet to avoid the tunable, and check just the weaponswitching, i guarantee you it's the same thing. the only change i can feel in this tunable patch is the shield bug fix @solar cairn

Yes, but before pushing a tunable, it goes through their QA, their qa didn't catch it, hence it was pushed. they only removed it as a result of external customer report, after the report, their qa will test it again, and verify it is indeed reproducible. That is the standard process
