Cyber Mancs are expert snipers, trappers, and pattern readers and will basically one shot you

Shield Guys are just fucked in general.

Summoners wave attacks can be extremely bullshit. So you gotta kill the Summoner as fast as possible before she can throw out her ludicrously bullshit wave attack.

Meanwhile other times you can just strafe it

It feels a bit random of what the waves are capable of.

Similar things happens with Eternal's Whiplash, Carcass, and Tyrant wave attacks, but atleast those don't generally one shot you, like 2016's Summoners do.

There could be a couple more variations of the From-Above animations, and the special executions done on Champion/Leader demons.
I think it’s fine overall though. I like that they made Glory Kills more optional than integral to the combat loop. Even though I miss them.
If there is to be another game within the next 5-7 years, I hope they expand on what we got in TDA with a greater mix of actual Glory Kills.

But the new system definitely benefits this game’s design and I prefer what we have here instead of the standard GK system in 2016 and Eternal.

I just came into say...don't sleep on the power gauntlet. I've seen some people on youtube call the thing garbage and that it deals no damage. But I was just messing around with it and punched an aggadon hunter in the face. The final 2 hits in its 4 hit combos deal almost the same amount of damage as the dread mace.

Been testing it. Yeah, if you reach the last 2 hits you can take out about a 1/3 of a boss health bar depending on who you're punching

The pressure of following Eternal's soundtrack is now over. FM can make the DLC music as the boss dogs of TDA OST, I want to hear what they do in that context

It fell short in some aspects. Some songs are just filler or not worth listening to, overall a lack of references compared to eternal or 2016 by themselves. There are also times where there's not a lot happening besides riffs. Overall, it's great, but if could be better, add that extra touch, go the extra mile further when yu don't even need to.
