The fact there are doors you can unlock with a keycard or a violet key that are placed in different sections of a level their keys are found in throw me off as well, the game is so fast, I don't have time to keep a mental note to check this or that place in 10 minutes when i'll come back, i can't recount the amount of time the second I reach the "Chapter complete" screen i'm like "Oh fuuuuuuuck... I forgot about that door. Gotta do the whole level again"

These weapons seem to have similar (maybe identical) use cases. Does anyone know which are the “better” variants? I’m talking purely from a utility perspective, not the fun factor.

Rocket Launcher vs Reaver. Both intended for mid-range massive damage on heavies.

Accelerator vs Cycler. I only really use on enemies with energy shields. But I think I could get more use out of them heating up plated armor as well.

Are there ever any situations where either of the Skullcrusher weapons are optimal? I mostly use Shield Throws and Shield Bashes for groups of fodder enemies and don’t really see a use for these.

Reaver absolutely destroys armor so use it for that, accelerator is good for focusing on a single target while cycler is good for taking out a group, and the ravager is my favorite dps weapon while the pulverizer is sort of just there in case theres a big swarm of fodder

I’d argue TDA is more intense than Eternal, in terms of design. There’s a lot more going on screen that you actually need to focus and react to, whereas in 2016 and DE, you could ignore most of the projectiles.

Tda is incredible, but it is really different from eternal. No dashes or double jumps, however shield lets you move quicker than with a meathook. You can up the speed of the game up to 150%(where you can quickswap). Question is, will you like new mechanics or not? I personally love it, as did all previos games.
