The controller scheme in TDA isn't the best, so I decided to rework them to match Eternal. I treat weapon classes as weapon mods and it's the best decision I ever made. And I used my shieldsaw throw to match the chainsaw pip usage.

ON Series X. Cant get past the tutorial for the shield. EVery time the shield tutorial pops up, the game locks up and no buttons do anything. IN fact the button for shield doesn't work at all. if I disable tutorials it stops the crash but still cant get past the opening section because the shield wont work to block. It does this on downlaoded series x game, and also cloud on both series x and Edge browser. All with fresh saves.

Uh alright a radiant enemy in ultrakill is a buffed enemy that attacks and moves faster. They even have more health.

Think of it like the possessed demons from TAG but instead they don't really require a special way to kill them. You need to rely on exploiting their weaknesses.

To add to this. Every shooter is different in one way or another. One player might be really good at Ultrakill, but not everything can carry over to Counter Strike. There are mechanics and dynamics that don't cross over. Plus they have fundamental differences.

Yeah a radiant idol can make them invincible but when they're destroyed the enemy will be made a radiant as observed in 1-E.

That hideous mass you fight at the end doesn't start out as radiant but when you destroy agony and tundra the little cage holding the bastard becomes invulnerable and you need to fight it juiced up.

TDA definitely has more of a horizontal approach to the core gameplay.

nah, parrying is either super easy because the projectiles are slow, or you just do it on muscle memory because most of the stuff is clearly choreograhped and it's easier to just learn when to press m2

beat the game, game only started clicking for me at the later chapters which were also the best because they're the hardest, very similar to eternal. amazing game tbh might even rival eternal come DLC+master levels. last stage(s) soundtrack was the best the OST ever got.

imps parry-able projectiles for example are super easy to hit no matter what you do with the settings
and with the invisible imp's charge at you, all you do is press m2 as soon as you see the parry colour around them
