so i just had this pretty cool idea for TDA (based on a moment from batman arkham shadow)
this would be for if they do the argenta civil war, you see doomguy and the night sentinels getting trapped in hell, a cutscene plays of him having to witness each of them getting slaughtered one by one (kinda like the eclipse in berserk), that being the straw that broke the camel's back (again) for the slayer
he really had something good going on in argent d'nur, he was surrounded by people who genuinely respected him and treated him as an equal, something worth living and fighting for, but now? just like daisy, just like his wife and son, just like his original world, they took it away from him and before cutting to gameplay you see doomguy's eyes under his helment and he is PISSED, and this is the final part you playing as doomguy just going fucking insane on all the demons, and this would be the one time where you would do glory kills like in 2016 and eternal, symbolizing the metaphorical death of "doomguy" and the birth of "the doom slayer"
