All we know is that the card does need to support said RT extensions. With exception of AMD users on Linux having the option of shader fallback on some drivers (which doesn't perform very well compared to having a hardware pipeline for it), the game will probably not open without support.

It's not far behind a 5700 XT for general compute but it comes with support for the latest standard API extensions

so you have things like mesh shader and RT support

Also, while it looks like Taras Nabad in the trailer, there’s no confirmation it actually is.
Additionally, we don’t see the Slayer fight said Titan in the trailer, so it could very well follow the codex. He might not use the Atlan to kill it.
The game might jump around, or start after this point in time. There’s no real way of knowing from the info we have.

Doom 2016 was a surprise, and Eternal took the franchise in an unexpected yet (imo) great direction. I still think TDA looks fantastic, but catching lightning in a bottle is rare enough to happen once. They’ve done it twice now. Just don’t want the game to be overtuned. I don’t doubt ID’s developers, but I think it’s fair to be unsure about certain aspects. The dragon area is what’s got me a little skeptical, as cool as the idea is.

I’d also hope this game avoids jumping around the timeline. Personal preference, but I think sticking with one time period helps games flow better. Especially this type of game.

I think it’s fine because in the other games, without them it would just be shooting, don’t really give much spice. TDA, however, will give lots of spice with its base combat with the melee combat mixed with guns and a parrying system, and plus, there will still be finishers, like short, mini non-invincible glory kills

and the guns will be unique, the skull shredder will be a crowd weapon, the stake gun will pin enemies/knock them back, of course we got the plasma gun, and the ol shotties, all mixed in with parrying and varied melee weapons

Here’s just an explanation for the requirements:
In a developer’s eyes there’s literally zero reason to support 10 year old hardware unless the software is meant to run on decades old stuff.

Games usually don’t go for that, so developers like trying to use the latest hardware they reasonably can that’ll still work under the current console generation (assuming they are also aiming towards a console release)

Looks like there might be something similar to it. A couple clips show the Slayer throwing his shield at a green target and then getting pulled back towards it to clear a gap. I assume those green targets recharge the shield, allowing the player to retrieve it.

prebuilts arent bad if you're new to pcs and money isnt a problem but some companies will skimp out by using other shitty parts, my first pc ever was from CyberPowerPC and the first time i ordered from there they sent me a pc with a stock intel cooler and an awfully slow hard drive also some no-name ram brand which ran pr slow too while they simply advertised the pc as an i7 8700 and a gtx 1080 (this was 2018)

but its more of a research thing i think you can also have your parts customized too
