I would also recommend you install the mod mechjeb, some consider it cheating but its a single player game who cares. It does stuff an IRL computer would do, like do a perfect efficient take off or maneuvers to other planets. Takes a bit to understand and its not perfect so you still occasionally need to plan things out on your own

Yes, and that is something they should trust you to know if, or when it gets too bad. And to clarify, "not doing their fair share of housework" is not "Bad". That's something you and your roommate need to have a conversation over.
