I do not need 256gb of free space to do software development. A 256gb sized HD for a laptop after the OS, after all the other software installed and all the other data files needed to do the job of which software development is a major but not only facet of the job ends up managing 10gb or less to get the tools I need to run so I am constantly uninstalling tools and all that overhead of spinning up/spinning down tools has given me the reason I think 256gb sized HD in todays world is a bit smol. Holy run on sentence.

Na, probably jot. The cancelation was in July of 2025, and according to thr video from the devs, they were too ambitious and with the way they were moving, the original plan-path was no longer fitting and they're would have been major delays.
