Since my dad passed away almost 10 years ago I’d had 4 other people pass away, well before my dad my eldest brother, his first son, died from an accidental self inflicted gunshot wound, so I had to go to his funeral, then a year and a half later my dad died, then Christmas Day 2023 my stepdad died while opening gifts, then I had a friend and studio client die in his sleep so I went to his funeral, and then September of last year I went to the funeral of a local game store owner I considered a friend who passed away from cancer… the lessons I’m learning is that death never gets easier, just more frequent…
