Think I’ve finally found the best way to use all the additional sourcebooks I’ve gotten for dnd in a way that won’t overwhelm any players. Basically just gonna have them do everything with base dnd stuff, and any time they express an interest in a spell, item, ability, class/subclass, or game mechanics that aren’t part of base dnd, I’ll just have them on standby ready to go and explain to them how to go about acquiring those things (I legitimately have so much stuff that it basically covers nearly anything anyone could ever want to do outside of extremely niche things lmao)

Cause like there’s no need to try and explain a deep system of alchemy or put a book of 500 items in front of them unless they’re interested lol

All i know is you need to setup an appointment with an Autism place and while at the place they'll ask you questions and talk to you. to figure out if you have Autism or not. it can take multiple trips to figure it out. i had to go back 1 extra time to find out if i had Autism or not.

i was still young at the time so it took 1 extra trip

I also hear with requesting autism diagnoses, resistance from doctors for many bizarre and varied reasons if tried as an adult.

As a child it is so much easier. My theory is they probably trust the intermediary of parents or teachers rather than a first hand account. Turns out medical professionals can absolutely be bigoted and ableist as hell and will apply their narrow world view to people they deem are liars.

THAT BEING SAID. This is not always the case. And getting that diagnosis is still very important.

I had just gotten him fixed, shot, and chipped like 2 weeks prior

And they did the exam after he passed, according to the tests all of his organs worked fine

Eh it’s not so bad, it’s just when you’re working for a bank and money gets screwed up somewhere or customers don’t understand basic math or read the documentation when they open their accounts the CSRs are the ones that get railed for it, but 95% of my calls are very nice people and even some of the frustrated ones I can calm them down and help them

Okay so ever since I could put earbuds in my ears, I have. Cause the world is either too quiet or too loud. ADHD you know? So since I was 18, I've been buying from a brand call Jlab. I'm not an audiophile so I don't know how to tell if audio is "bad". Like, they work for me. My main issue is I love to lay around with my ears in. I try not to make a habit of it, but sometimes you just be listening into to something good and next thing you know, 😴😴😴. I also wish my earbuds were more discreet (I'm currently wearing the Go Pop ANC. I think I bought them in 2024?) Anyways, I saw some earbuds on the interwebs that look like they'd be a better fit with me laying around and also they're a lot smaller so I think they would really work for the whole discreet thing. But I'm like, not 100% sure about them. Especially because I've had the Air Pop for a while and they haven't given out yet.

Oh no, they worked great after I let them dry off. The left earbud DID stop working a week later but back then, Jlab sold replacements so I had a replacement shipped and the earbuds then proceeded to last about another year before deciding they no longer wanted to work properly.

To be far to those earbuds, I found them in the zipper pocket of a jacket, so I don't think they were exposed to as much water. But also, Jlab earbuds are do have a good water proof rating. So like, as long as you don't take them down to the bottom of a lake and back they should be fine.
