the issue is literally this:
Make a series the world loves -> Make things exclusive to one region despite having global fans -> sometimes make a version of something that has worse music and sound effects because you deem the global fans as unworthy (final fantasy did this)

oh and another thing, when things get dubbed they force the voice actors in other countries to replicate the same exact cadence so it makes things sound off, the majority of the time they don't allow the actors to use their full range and it's why people go "EWW THE DUB SUCKS!"
