By 2050 ~0.1-0.2% of population will die of completely untreatable multidrug resistant bacteria
These bacteria will be indestructible tanks of the micro world, as these aren't killable, they can infect more people, growing population, growing resistance...
This continues over and over
rn we're about 1 million people / year, 2050 will be 10 million and that number will be accelerating
These bacteria are built like a fortress, generally if a drug has properties to get past the bacteria wall, it's inner defences are tuned to those properties (thanks to natural selection...) and will pump it back outside the cell, so very few drugs are capable to dealing with them
These stats are of course not including the normal deaths from normal bacteria, nor other pathogens
On top of that, the rate at which current and past drugs are becoming obsolete is insane... there were dozens and now down to few... very few...
