I don't want to interrupt an ongoing conversation so I'll put it here but I am just starting with GMS (have programming exp) and I am running into something I'm trying to figure out. I'm following the tutorial by Shaun Spalding that Thor linked during the stream, and what I'm running into right now is that I want to create a wall jump, but it's acting odd.

I got this platformer movement working, however when I want to Wall jump (hold A into left wall then W to jump) it doesn't work. The weird thing is, it works if I stand against the wall, W, let go of W, press and hold A then W again. Is there a specific way I can get this done? BLUBBERSWTF

I was thinking about making a game called 3 decisions. Its a roguelite side scroller that has a story but depending on each time you get 3 decisions it will change the outcome of the game. Not only that but the game will allow a player to miss opportunities. Like classic pokemon where you can choose what pocket monster to get but you choose what mob you want to battle. Each mob gives you a new ability and throughout the lore you have to make sacrifices like abilities you have earned in order to continue.

Must be some sort of "too good to be true" ratio for youtube's advertisers. At some point, YouTube probably gets blamed for inflating numbers to justify advertisement costs.
