Sorry for writing so much, but I got a Minecraft server I want to share with you all 😁
Bit of backstory;
For the past 10 years I have been working on a Minecraft server project. I've been doing it 99% by myself, only getting some help with decisions when I'm indecisive. The reason it's taken me so long is because I'm not all that good with creative things, I often lose motivation, I run out of ideas, and I got some health issues. That has lead me to often take many brakes, lasting everything from weeks to years.
But for the past two years I have had more than enough time on my hands (because I got covid 2 years ago and got long-covid after, which cost me both my job and huge part of my active life, and which I'm still struggling with to this day). That meant I got more time, so I managed to get a lot more work done on the server.
And I've now finally arrived at the point where I can open it for a small Alpha Playtest 🎉
So, the server;
The server is a Prison gameplay server, inspired by the OG prison back in the day (for those that played there and remember it), simply because that's when I started creating it (after they shut down) 😅
Currently I only have the first ward done, which contains 4 blocks (4 sections with a mine in each). But in this ward I have:
- 4 mines with their own shops
- A zombie pit where you can kill zombies for exp
- Rent-able shops where you can sell your items to other players (no player-shop system in place yet tho unfortunately, just the area)
- A lottery where you have the chance to win in-game money (same money as you gain from selling items in all shops)
- A nice enchanting room
- A huge labyrinth
It supports versions from 1.16 to 1.21.4, but the lower the client version, the weirder it might look due to older versions not having all the blocks that the newer versions have.
I still have many things to work on and improve, but I need more feedback and data to do so. This includes building up the economy, implementing more of the features I would like to make, expanding on what I already have, and more. I can't make any promises now due to my situation (health, motivation etc), but feedback from players is essential for me to continue.
I have implemented a system for bug reports, so what I hope for is to gain players that will play on the server, find bugs and report them, so that I can continue the development of the server 😄
The next ward is under development ^^
(My friend and I are also developing a small client-side visual modpack to enhance the visuals on the server. This modpack is 100% client-side and only does visual changes. We are still waiting for it to get approved on Modrinth, so more information about it will wait until it is approved.)
This is just the beginning, so there’s plenty more to come! 💖

You are not alone on this adventure, compete with friends and other players in head to head duels or join a costume contest to show off your gear!
What started as a hobbyist project between friends over two years ago has turned into something we want to share with other players. The game is almost ready with the alpha testing phase coming to an end in a few weeks. Hello everyone! I'm creating a cinematic audio drama—like a movie or TV series, but in audio form. It's set in a magical world called Emerald City. Emerald City: The Rise of Eros tells a love story while exploring a PVE-style war. This universe is located near the edge of a mystical sea that flows like a river, where magic has reshaped the land.
The city is under consistent attack by Hord creatures (insect-like monsters), massive beasts (three to four times the size of humans), and Titans—all of which see humans as food or nests.
Emerald City blends medieval and futuristic elements because its resources and inventions are not unified. The government recently finished a "Rift" project, which pulls people from other worlds. This is how Eros, a Warlock with mind control powers, is brought to the city. He’s angry about being taken from his home, but the city's leaders work to convince him to help save them while they figure out how to send him back.

I have exhausted all my options and I will do anything for my family.
BLUF: I have created a GoFundMe because last night my wife's vehicle broke down, it was the transmission that ate itself on a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan with only 120K miles. We just got extremely unlucky with the RNG on the buy 2 years ago. I drive a 2007 Crown Victoria and she is just a beater to get me to work and back and not safe for the family of 2 kids. We do not have the funds to cover this, we were not prepared. No savings and living check to check on a single income household living in base housing. I only ask that you spread the fundraiser to friends and family. I want no pressure on my family (guildies) to think they need to help. I just have no where else to turn.

It is my honor as the owner and director of this project to be able to share with you what me and 20 others have been working on since December 23 of 2023.
Allow me to introduce, Project Daedalus.
Project Daedalus (or PD for short) is what soon will be the largest, most immersive, engaging, and thrilling Minecraft Maze Runner experience. Our focus is to create a multiplayer environment such that you will find you feel like the main character in your own movie, where you and your friends can explore a massive world full of danger, puzzles, quests, and a ton more. Soon, you’ll be able to run around in a maze many times larger than any static maze that has ever been imagined. A world record holding maze, at a staggering 82 square miles of exploitable terrain. A 16,000x16,000 circle where there is only one rule. Never. Stop. Running. With a DnD inspired job leveling system, movie accurate, fully animated, to-scale grievers, moving doors, and much more.
We are nearing project completion, and will be accepting playtesters soon! For now, join our Discord server to provide input on what YOU want to see in the server, and follow regular updates as WCKD continues construction. Hope to see you there!

On the path to self improvement, I'm giving this computer to a kid in the neighborhood for Christmas so I can focus on other things that need my attention. I got what I needed out of it, and then some.
He's 12, but I'm going to teach him some stuff about Arduinos and the Anycubic Chiron 3D printer he's getting.
I spoke to his mother this morning, we're gonna film it so it can go in the feature length autobiography Ill be releasing.
he may end up making content, but he doesnt even know he's getting this or my $1500 steam account >:D

I'm not sure how long it will be until I build another rig, but I'm guessing at least a year.

Hello there, I'm Mr.Caputo. I'm a small indie developer and founder of Caput Mundi Games from Italy 🇮🇹 .
Currently working on my game project Azzurrina the Ghostly GIrl. a 3D platform built in Unreal Engine, and for now planned to be released on pc.
The game is set in a** dark fantasy world** with spirits, devils, demons and many other mythical creatures.
Mostly created for a teenager target audience, rated 16+.
Is the classic "Rescue the princess in the castle" but in this case it is just Azzurrina's mom kidnapped by an evil demon clown (with the face of a moon) who wants to rule the world (underworld/hell in this scenario).
I've been working since October 2018 on this project and after years of studies and concept.
I'm** looking **for capable staff members with the passion for old school platform games from the 90's and early 2000's who can help and contribute for the whole game production. What me and the team we are looking the list include:
- 2D concept artist,
- 2D animator
- 3D artist, good with Maya and Blender
- 3D animator
- Programmer, good with C++ and Unreal Engine
- Level Designer
- Sound designer
- Soundtrack composer
