We participate as a group and individually by streaming games for 24 hours, with a highlight schedule broken into 1-hour segments, hosted by a different person each hour.

This is not my project, but i want to get a little more eyes on it.

Metallurgent is a Tactical TTRPG/Wargame centered around an alternate history Earth, where, among other happenings Y2K disaster resultedin Earth suffering from Kessler Syndrome and long-range communications breakdown. The players take the role of mercenaries in this tumultuos time, piloting Anvils, a kind of a modular mech.

The game draws notable inspiration from BattleTech and Armored Core games, so the customization is quite deep. The game is currently in open testing, and the creators have a Discord server where you can give them feedback and take discussion on how to best iron out some issues with the rules and the feel of the game.

Currently, the game a bit of a lull in activity as the GMs are few and so the games are a bit rare, but I hope to get a little more activity for it with this.

Once again Thor and the whole community can give themselves applauds: One more aspiring streamer going straight into the whirlpool of content making. Instead of tipping the toes into water with streaming first on VC:s and such, I'll fully submerge into the cold water and start streaming in Twitch. 👏

**So what's up? **

I'm Heiggs, a Finn 🇫🇮 who has joined into the community about the same time when the big boom happened for Thor year ago. Inside this community you can usually find me mostly babbling in the pirate-pass and semiactive on cooking, streamchat and some other channels when I actually have some time and braincells.

I've been doing a bit of this and that before game development career, typical case: You find out some point at life that this isn't what you really want to do, then go for what you actually want to do. I've finished my bachelors engineer studies this summer and now I'm working on multiple indie projects, starting off my career so to speak. As side hobbies I've been making food since I was knee high, and I also enjoy nature, camping and creating stuff via handiwork.

Mostly my time goes with learning and making 3D-art in all it's forms: Modeling, texturing, rigging and animating, but I've uhh.. found myself in a place where I just go jack of all trades just by being a curious person. Trying out on a whim to see if I like doing something or not.

About the stream and content.

Streaming content will be based on GMT+2 timezone, as I'm streaming from Europe. Content itself will revolve around gaming, game development and hopefully in the future some outdoors VLOG and cooking, time will tell what happens.

I'm planning on going into same direction as many streamers: No bullying, politics, religious stuff and otherwise violating laws. I'm just trying to give my viewers some quality chilling time, "a safe space" so to speak.

Just a guy showing what the gaming industry looks like in the eyes of a fresh junior dev and entrepreneur around here, just a dood playing vidya and goofing around. As a person who doesn't natively speak English, I'm deeply horrified on what's to come. Well, you learn as you go and learn also to laugh at yourself. Be yourself.

Schedule

Schedule is prone to change over time naturally, but for now I've been planning on starting with a 3 day streaming week: Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. First stream airing on this Saturday (EU: 09.11.2024, US: 11.09.2024) at ~12pm depending how well my systems actually work, schedule is on it's way.

What we've made is basically a new type of game engine that allows for realtime creation of 3D content that can be one-clicked publish, to run natively on all our supported devices.
