Ah I need to probably go fix that source again. CDN Storage is simply, depending on where you are in the world, determines what global server offers you the content. Most of the modern internet websites like youtube, netflix, twitch work this way. I am wondering if it was polling my data to offer the audio file to your region and it might have worked after a little bit?

This project has moved to almost fully Godot though with CDN streaming audio (for now) but I am learning all the CDN stuff along side. And as I don't have the game published yet. I am just learning the CDN part via my github project 😄

So, normally I wouldn't have anything to actually Advertise, I'm a photographer who sells prints, I write articles about mental health stuff, and make weird bits of music for my friends. I do me and it's fun.
However, I saw my friend had posted something, on Facebook of all places, that he put his game on 75% discount on steam. Which is great!
If you like MOBA games... I don't, I still don't have the heart to tell him I don't like MOBAs. But I know a lot of people do. I remember playing his alpha build before he went to Steam with it a few years back and it was fun, if you like that sort of thing. I like planes, so it was a good hook for me. The strategy of the game is fun too. But, it's still a MOBA, and I just don't jive with them.
But, he's a funny dude, the idea of the game is fun, and he has poured a lot of himself into it over the years and just realased a big update to it yesterday it looks like. And is on sale today.
I'm proud of him, so I'm gonna try and post it places without him finding out.

I made a YouTube video recently because I'd been watching Pirate Software videos and mainly shorts for a while, and I had seen a video criticizing Thor. I realized the video was not only wrong but in many ways just personal attacks, and it soon got removed, but this allowed me to re-examine some of Thor's content and judge it with a more critical eye. I think you can levy a few real criticisms of Thor without just straight up harassment and vitriol. I am a fan of Thor's content, a subscriber, and frequent viewer as of earlier this year, but in my first video I do discuss two areas where I believe he has faltered a little. This video is not meant to flame or harass IN ANY WAY, it was basically an excuse for me to criticize two YouTube shorts posted to the Pirate Software channel I feel are uninformed. This is not a reflection on all of the other content on the channel, which I generally am impressed and entertained by.

Had a lot of fun building a cold and creepy winter city scene. I wanted the player to be able to feel comfortable enough to want to sit in the chair on the balcony before throwing a little jump scare at them & jumping into the main game.

This is a copy of my first post about this game ever in public in the love2d Forums after 4 Years of Development (6000+ hours).
The Buymeacoffee-Site is on for almost a year but i only send the link to a couple of friends.
The Idea of this game was a mix of Forager , Minecraft and Factorio.
The Game isn't near completion at all but i think it is time to get some public feedback.
Especially because the game has no tutorial at all (yet) i would love to know where you get stuck ,
so just ask me here or on the Discord Server so i can help you and put together some sort of first Info-Text for people who would like to check out the demo.
If you know what you are doing, completing all Upgrades of the game should take about 8 Hours of gameplay ,
but if you play more chill or really want to nerd it out, you can sink about 20 hours into it at this point.
the current version is for Windows only but there will be a Linux version soon ,
also a friend of mine is playing it using wine and has no special issues.
And please report any crash or bug you encounter here or on Discord so i can fix it 🙂

Kaipa Bots is a Factorio-like video game where you start as a small robot who was sent to an asteroid in the Kuiper Belt (an asteroid belt on the edge of our solar system) by a company to gather resources, manufacture products, and send them back to Earth.
By sending stuff back, you unlock more and more technologies to build more advanced tech and connect multiple asteroids to a network of factories.

I dont know if it is possible, but decreasing upload bandwidth i think would help the bottleneck. An idea i had was use AV1 to a remote server to transcode to a twitch supported encoding to reduce bandwidth from her house. You would know better than me though. She is streaming now and dropping frames constantly. Not sure best way to raise this to your attention, but hopfully this works, she seems at her limit.

My name is Tyler or Simplicity as online. Here I would like to reach out to anyone that may be willing to help in my endeavors. I have background in graphic design with my Associates. As well as dabbling in the game dev world for a short while. I work a majority of the days of the week on a night shift schedule so my current time to work on development has unfortunately shortened greatly.
The plan is to start producing games. As mentioned I do not have the time currently or skills on my own to this. I am looking for others that would be willing to help. Hi! I’m working on a vertical slice with 5 other individuals in unreal engine, with the goal of pitching it to publishers for funding. It is a classic survival horror game with crpg elements, where you descend with a crew in a giant mech to the center of the earth.
Most of the team is art focused, and so we have a narrative built out, GDD made, some concept art done, visual style figured out, shaders built, etc. but we are struggling with implementing game mechanics into the engine itself.
