Most animations run well on 27 frames, 30 imo causes a delayed unnatural feel. And that’s the best way to do it tbh, if it feels right try your best.

I updated the forms on the wiki. Ferrets is now split into two sections instead of using one big list. First one shows the selected ferret and other active (no valhalla or former) of the same playgroup, and the other section is an auto-collapsed element and has all others. And the names are also spaced evenly. Should make adding stuff a bit easier, since we often just need the ferrets of the same group.

The surgery was explorative. The surgery itself went well, though he still had the plethora of medical issues which required treatment. This sadly wasn't enough in the end.

Mocha was a special boy. He always seemed nice and could do well with basically any group.
At least I saw him play in multiple groups, Genpop and oldies at least.
He felt like that nice guy, that could fit in anywhere. Always playful, never aggressive.
While most here seem to love Henry (understandably) the most, just seeing mocha on stream always brightened up my day.
Just knowing that this won't happen anymore... I can't put it into words.

I can't imagine how Thor and shaye feel... But I agree with being mad. He didn't deserve that. Not so suddenly...

So my son has Angelman Syndrome (TL;DR; it's a genetic fluke during development where a protein isn't produced which is critical for brain development, leading to balance, mobility and speech severe delays (speech may be non-existent). This also results in disruption in sleeping at night, so I'll put on the ferrets stream and lay him down in his playpen for him to watch.

The first ferret I bawled over like this wasn't a part of Snails House, but also wasn't the first loss I knew from that business either (was the ferret that introduced me to that business, and by extension, Snail's House).
And I didn't realize how much impact Mocha actually had on me and that he would have me fighting back sobs at the office either. But he was the first noodle I could ID in the night cmm so it does make sense, just caught me off guard

Ferrets are so misunderstood. Most people don't know what they are, and they don't really care about their well being.. I legit think it's criminal the way they are sold,. Our local petco has a sign "hit the snooze button. Ferrets sleep 18b to 20 hours a day" implying that it's easy

i mean, TELLING people that on average they sleep that much is also important, so people don't buy them thinking they are active like that more, i imagine some ferrets get abandoned because they got them thinking they or their children would be able to play with them far more often

the number of people that went crazy for Huskies when GOT was popular skyrocketed, and so did the number of them abandoned not long after because they didn't bother to research the breed, and find out they are a high energy dog, and needs SPACE to run around. way too many people with no time to spend with the dogs got them while living in like apartments, and would come home to stuff destroyed because the dog got bored and ate a hole through a sofa/wall/door/box

my sister FINALLY realized she needs to cut back on the number of animals she has in her house, she is slowly finding them homes, she had like 3 or 4 Siberian huskies, and like 4 or so Cats, along side her twin children, and the teenage God daughter of her husbands they are now raising, she FINALLY admitted it was too much to deal with, ESP when my parents told her originally (when she lived in a condo they bought and rented to her) NO CATS because our father and myself are Allergic, when she got a cat, it became, ONLY ONE CAT because the allergy medication would work well enough, it DOES NOT work well at all with 4 cats, its like we didnt take any and rubbed our faces on a cat with 4 of them at once.

Just got home and saw the news about Mocha. Mocha & Pickle were the first two ferrets I saw at the rescue and instantly became my faves.
Watching Mocha play hide 'n seek, seeing him overcome DIM(going from crawling to war dancing), and his eating disorder. I've read some people use Tiki Cat After Dark patés but I'd check the ingredients, they change all the time in stuff like that. I believe a vet told me raw egg yolk as an option, but avoid the white. Ours weren't very interested, but they're weirdos
