It's Nabooru, Nabooru has a thicker tail than Ganon, often put the tail as a weird angle (a bit like Rusty) and doesn't have the darker fur between the ears

If anyone is keeping score: we have some ferrets. We had Willow, who is the sweetest ever, and her sister was Rayna. Rayna was mean to everyone but Willowk not her fault.. just nature.. so everyone was mean to Willow
Rayna got sick and passed away. We were afraid Willow would be alone.
We got two new ferrets, ferrets who never met (got attacked by) Rayna.
One of them, Julian, is a super sweet boy. After some apprehension, he now stays the night in Willow's room.
One of our older ferrets gizmo.. who rayna used to be mean to.. we put him and Willow together while they were sleepy, and they would nap together, but when they met each other awake.. gizmo would bite her.
Today I let Willow and Gizmo out at the same time.. gizmo chased Willow into a laundry basket.. but instead of attacking, he cautiously followed her in and they napped together..
Tonight i put both gizmo and Willow together into her room while awake.. a couple of hours later, I went to check on them again. Willow, Julian and Gizmo were all snuggled up. Yay! Willow has two friends now!

Update
After Rayna died and Willow was alone, we've been working hard on introducing new possible friends. First was Julian. He's a sweet boy, and took little effort. Now we've been working on integrating old man Gizmo. It took a bit. First willow snuggled up to him while he was sleeping in the main part of the house, but when they would meet while awake, he would go into "concerned mode" and he would chase her off. Later she was in her little house, gizmo walked by and saw her, and was giving her "test bites"..... on the face 🙄 .. anyway. He chased her to a basket. She crawled in. He crawled in after and did not attack. Then they spent time together in Willow's room. Now it's official. He stays the night with her, and in fact, when gizmo has the choice to go into Willow's room or the "boys room" he chooses Willow. So Willow officially has two friends

This morning I found Willow, gizmo, and Julian all sleeping together in the carrier, but a picture wasn't really possible

Sorry I haven't been around, Grandma visit is taking up a lot of time and I'm kind of stressed out because Mocha has exploratory surgery Monday. I hadn't posted an update because I've been processing everything but he hasn't improved since his first visit 2 weeks ago, surgery will hopefully turn up something but it's risky, he may end up having his spleen removed during but I'm not certain, I'm kind of mess about it all

It's sort of the last option at this point to figure out what all is going on with him

The swamp boys are going to go with him to be blood donors if needed

His gallbladder looks like a snow globe now on ultrasound, so there is some kind of obstruction some where, I'm hoping it can be easily fixed

Read that about his gallbladder. I flashed back. When I finally got my gall bladder removed, I had a stone in it as big as a golfball, and other crap. It hurt. Two years later, I had to have a procedure to pull a stone out of my bile duct, even without having a gall bladder. The wait for that procedure hurt even worse. I have much empathy. Poor Mr. Mocha. Here's hoping for the best. The one thing I remember after the anesthesia wore off was the pain that had been background noise for years in my life before the surgery was gone. I hope the same relief happens to him.

I'm keeping an eye on things too, but it's quite possible we won't find out immediately, even when they return, and that's perfectly okay and understandable. It must be an enormous strain for them right now, regardless of what happened. They should both take the time they need and then let us know what's going on when they're ready. After all, there's unfortunately also the possibility of bad news, even though we're all hoping for the best for Mocha boy.

Mocha alive, waking up from surgery

• no spleen mass (it was an angry mesenteric lymph node), spleen was kinda purple / angry but fine other wise

• both gastric lymph nodes enlarged, they removed one and biopsied the other to send out for analysis

• gallbladder is thickened but no obvious stones / blockage etc, they took a biopsy of it as well as a sample of bile

• bile was mucoid but clear (better than expected), he had been pooping some bile the past few days so it's possible if he had a blockage it was successfully passed

• they took a biopsy of his liver to send out

• pancreas kinda mad, maybe a little pancreatitis from his gallbladder issue

We pick him up at 5:30 pst

The boys did not need to be blood bags today, so they just got to have a day hanging out with Dr. Auntie

Biopsies analyze the sample on a cellular level, it is how you determine exactly what is making things in the body angry, whether that be cancer, infection, inflammation, autoimmune response, what types of bacteria and what antibiotics they respond to, etc

I wanted to give an Albus update, they took pee and blood and his pee was perfect. he has anemia and was dehydrated. i'm not sure how the last one happened, i guess with all the sleeping he wasnt drinking enough. the vet also gave some nutrigel to help too.

so prognosis is that Baby Noodle Man is just old
