Our Rayna had an emergency very appointment last week with our backup vet because we found her covered in massive amounts of drool and she wasn't moving. She perked up and seemed relatively normal by the time we got there.
He prescribed Amoxicillin, Metronidazole, and Carafate.

The next day, Rayna went to our regular vet. No blood sugar problems. She was concerned about her perhaps swallowing a foreign object, but x-rays showed nothing.

About 30 minutes ago, Rayna came walking from her room, her back was arched higher than usual. She would walk a few steps, then would kind of lock up and fell over. She did this several times, then hid in a tube and we had to work together to get her out.

Called the backup vet again (he's available 24 hours) and he recommended giving her Kero syrup and wait 10 minutes to see if she perked up.
She did go back to relatively normal, but instantly.. so I don't think it was because of the kero syrup. She is eating and drinking right now.

Any ideas?

Let's see how this goes. He's our former vet, because for some reason he is under the impression that insulinomas in ferrets are rare. So rare in fact, that when I said I had 3... he said the odds were "astronomical". And this is looking more and more like insulinoma... so.. might have to push hard to get that kind of treatment

I know nothing about ferret medicine but some of that sounds similar to what happens when people try to lose weight fast by over exercising and trying to lose water weight. Is there any chance of dehydration, high temperature or nutrition imbalance?

Also, humans can absorb sugar through the gums, if her jaws are locked shut maybe getting syrup on her gums may help?

I told you to call, not come in" (not true BTW he said he would work he in" I tried to explain "there's this rescue is Washington where they only deal with ferrets, and they do research..." "Based on the symptoms we think it's insulinoma" I tried to explain but in a way that didn't make it sound like I was trying to question his expertise. Which was harder because I haven't slept.
Then he was looked at me with a fake smile that seemed like was barely masking anger, and said "look. I understand what they think it is... okay? "
She wouldn't let them draw blood, so they were going to sedate.."

Would you believe how much more friendly and understanding he was, like an entirely different person when her BG came back at 40?

(I love when u post pics n vids of them btw). Always go with ur gut n keep doing what ure doing even if it includes pounding info into the vets head. Also dont forget to take care of yourself. Stress can take its toll n pets can pick up on that as well. So remember to take some time with ur ferrets n unstress together. Sometimes its easier said than done. Idk if it happens this way for everyone, but if you get a ferret and you're really close, and they pass away.. there are some really annoying moments when you see another ferret run by in your peripheral vision. And for a split second your brain thinks it's the deceased ferret.. the first several times you're sad.. then at some point you get annoyed at your own brain

Yup. Experienced this with three of my cats that passed. Not as often anymore, but occasionally. While we were still catless, I sidestepped what my brain told me was one of them running out of the bedroom and into our hallway before it finally clicked it wasn't her.
