Sorry to jump in on the convo, but I work a lot with cats, both feral and pet. Feral cats are semi-social. They might gather in groups (colonies) of half a dozen or so adults and their kittens, but for the most part they prefer having space away from each other.

They are a tiny bit less social sometimes but it’s negligible.
I wouldn’t recommend anyone a polecat hybrid as a pet unless they are seasoned owners because they seem smart strong and big. Some can climb up anything

Yes and its quite healthy too!! Has good omega 3 oils. Also, shaye no longer uses fish oils because some ferrets hated it. Might use hemp oils now, ill have to ask

So I got home on lunch to give loki his meds and food and the moment I walk in the door my husband states the ferrets got into a spat this morning while I was at work but it stopped immediately when he got up and checked on them. I just looked towards the room they have and asked who was screaming. I already knew the answer but I wanted confirmation. He responded that it was Astrid and I'm just like yup, that sounds about right. Because she will instagate play time and go rough but the moment loki gives it back to her she screams bloody murder. It's always been like that, she isn't hurt or anything. But she will scream like she is dieing when he has only pinned her. I'm guessing it's because she is deaf and special

I had to take Luna to the ER this morning, she was off yesterday but took a downturn this morning and is super anemic, I took Misto with me in case they wanted to do a blood transfusion but it's looking like she might have super aggressive lymphoma in her liver / spleen, shes there for some testing so I brought him home with me, they have to do blood work and a cytology of her liver / spleen to confirm cancer, they also need to check her ability to clot her blood since she had some bruising from getting subq fluids last night they're not really hopeful about it and if she can't clot then there's no point in a blood transfusion especially if it's cancer in both organs
