Tbf, I "can't" do throw-up... doesn't mean that when I lived alone with my cats I didn't! I would use poop scoop from the litter tray to pick up their hairballs for example and the ||chunky parts of other throw-up||, mop for the liquid parts (had a separate mop just for that kind of stuff)^^

When we got home to our apartment, he all around, you could tell it was the best day of his life. When we had to put him up for the night in the cage, it was clear he was freaking out, like he thought that was the only fun he was ever going to have, and he'd never be out of his cage again. Sushi has been declining. She has had the runs for basically 2 years. Lately she hasn't been able to reach the pad. The only thing that solves it is pepto bismol, but that can be toxic long term.. then again Sushi doesn't have long term left, then again, what if the symptoms of her declining are because of the pepto, then again, are the side fx worse than her liquid pooping on herself and 🤮 "cleaning it up herself" during the hours we're sleeping and can't clean her?
Vet and we decided the time for Sushi is either when she is in obvious pain, or no longer wants her soup.. she is more excited by soup than any other ferret I've seen, vet said the same thing.
