I'm in san Antonio and since August started, our temps have been 98-102 but feels like 110+ type hellhole. And the humidity makes it feel gross outside. Okay, I'd love to hear some suggestions. We got these indoor/outdoor rugs for our old lady ferret Sushi, because she is now having problems walking on our vinyl flooring.
We got polyester so that they are washable in the washing machine for the inevitable ferret pee and poops.
Obvs we'd have to cut it into smaller pieces so they would fit.
Trying to figure out a way to keep them somewhat in place, because our mischievous boy Clyde will spend all of his waking hours trying to get under it and make a big mess, which defeats the purpose.
If anyone has any ideas, there's a sweet old lady ferret that would appreciate it. She is falling trying to make it to the puppy pad

These were some of my ferrets over the years, I’ve previously owned 11 ferrets in my lifetime, since I was the age of 12 back years ago my family got into the ferret “business” pun intended lol. My grandparents are even part of my local ferret rescue as am I and some of my friends are as well. Thought I’d share!

yep, just gotta be thankful for not just the extention of life you can give because of the extra care and expertise you have in your staff and other resourced. but also the quality of that life. the play time they get with groups of their own kind, the variety of environments due to all the things you buy and change out to keep them entertained and engaged. the gooming and diet improvements and medicines their previous owners might not have been able to provide due to expense.

I also had to leave behind my girl (I left her with my best friend and now she lives with my younger sister, because otherwise she would have had to live in QT for 3 months without me 😔 Also my partner said this apartment wasn't cat-safe, less than 6months later we ended up with his parent's cats due to covid, I help resentment to those cats for a LONG time because I said goodbye to both my babies when other options could've been there, but it's in the past now...)

My husband and i are mocing to france from Quebec, canada. And we have 2 ferrets. Does anyone have advice for getting the ferrets there?

Old documents showed Air France allowing them on the plane the same as cats. But now it is changed and we HAVE? To go through a 3rd party org that wants to take 2000$+ per ferret? Just to put them on the same plane as us

We want to do that. We have the pet passports and everything ready. But we CANNOT put them on a plane wothout paying someone else to do it all. And in my experience these services do not put extra care for the animal. It will not be cared for once we put them in a crate and hand them off to the 3rd party
