So last night I learned that ferrets have between 28 and 30 ribs, between 5 and 9 nipples (for both males and females) and they have shins! 😛 Also, they have 2 kneecaps in each back leg. It was a moment of random ferret knowledge before sleep, my partner got curious as I made a joke with my Beans plush (we were watching something and in that show someone said "God will punish you for your sins" and I made Beans say "NOT MY SHINS?! Wait.. do I have shins?" which lead to this rabbit hole )

In our house, the ferrets are upstairs in a CN, and there's a marshalls gate that separates the stairs so the cat can't get upstairs and the ferrets when out don't get downstairs unsupervised.
