Hello everyone, I know this is off-topic, and I apologize for posting here (couldnt find an off topic channel). I haven’t officially introduced myself yet, but from what I’ve seen, it felt like this was one of the places where I could ask for help.

There's a 3 month old puppy in an animal shelter in Houston, Texas, who is about to be euthanized. He doesn’t need a forever home, just a foster for now. If anyone knows someone in that area who might be willing to help, please let me know (im from Europe, so im really not sure how else i could help) .
Honestly all of the dogs there deserve a second chance but feels like its to soon for this fella.

If you’ve never experienced this, it is best to know beforehand. There may come a time when you go to feed or play with your darling ferret, and at first they seem asleep. A warm, floppy, deep sleep. Then after picking her up, prodding her, rubbing her belly and more, she does not respond at all. Your heart pounds because at some deep level, you know that was enough to wake any person up. But ferrets aren’t people, and they have the ability to terrify their owners by going into ferret dead sleep.

There is nothing wrong with this, and it indicates nothing more than they were tired and you did a great job of providing them a place where they felt very safe to sleep.

just when you switch to darkmode. Seems like the pictures load with inverted colors and after loading being reinverted to normal. It's like that only for a short amount of time, based on size of the picture. Small Pictures are loading so fast they don't have this issue. It's more likely happen with bigger ones.

Is that...a hedgie? I love hedgehogs. I had a family living in my garden for a while and became concerned for one of them that was much larger than the others and seemed to have difficulty in walking. I picked him up took him to my local vet and he examined him and then finally said: There is nothing wrong with this hedgehog...that a diet wouldn't fix! Basically he'd gotten so fat that he couldn't roll into a ball anymore and the vet said we couldn't release him as he would no longer be able to protect himself from predators. So he had to go on a special diet for 6 weeks. Then I put him back with his family πŸ¦” Heart
