This place is small enough that all the locals seem recognized by the strays and they coexist peacefully. In non-depressing news, I do spend time in the yard late at night and I do have a small container of dry food and I have convinced at least one dog to come into my yard two times in the last 3 months. He's got a collar and he's not horribly matted except on his rear ahead of his tail. You can tell he isn't really used to "playing" with people because his attempts at play were fully wild as if he was playing with another dog. Oh when I was young I studied dog behavior, always felt the heartstrings tighten when I would see them, and MOST of my experiences with other peoples dogs are "Wow, he never lets anyone do that" or "Wow he's never done that with new people before". I remember when I was in Highschool I laid down on one of the couches in a friends house and one of the dogs came up and sat with me, I laid down with my arms around him and woke up 8 hours later with him still in my arms, he never moved. This is mostly because of the interview with Dr. K after the WoW drama. Arm Chair psychologists that have no idea how that field works used that as "evidence" that Thor is X, Y, Z mental health issue.

Dr. K largely stopped doing adhoc interviews like that because his chat was trying to tell the Psychiatrist Professional that he was wrong about Thor not being a narcissist. The edited version on YouTube largely cut that out.
