That whole narrative just kind of confuses me. Not a lawyer or accountant, but under my understanding:

Selling the house is at best pointless no matter how you look at it. If it is Steven's only home, Chapter 7 bankruptcy doesn't just take the house away from if you own it free and clear. While possible, I doubt Steven was paying a mortgage on the house. (Chapter 13 Bankruptcy doesn't matter, since that's re-structuring not liquidation).

It might have been used as collateral for a loan, but selling the house to someone else doesn't make that magically go away. Either the lien follows the house (at which point the creditors will still go after it) or he paid off the loan when it was sold. If he could do the latter, there was no reason to sell it.

The only reason I can think of that he would do it would be because it is not his primary residence since Chapter 7 will sell off extra homes to help pay off debts. If that is the case, the house still isn't safe. Hiding assets like that when you're planning on filing bankruptcy is one of those things the courts get really upset about and you don't want to piss off your bankruptcy judge. After all: If we know about it, then the court will too since they will go over his finances with a microscope and a pair of tweezers.

So no matter how you slice it, it doesn't make a lot of sense.

Humans react. Its what we do. And yeah, theres some garbage out there like xqc who would watch the whole vid with a face less expressive than a wet tissue, but there are others that offer insight, opinions, or a deep emotional reaction to form comeraderie through empathy.

Management decides to add DRM because it makes the game harder to crack, and making it harder to crack supposedly increases the initial burst of sales even if it neuters the game performance. Imagine a game that had very simple Positional audio voice chat.

But it wasn't good enough for some people in the MilSim community, and that positional voice audio was fed entirely through TeamSpeak instead through a Mod. And these missions played by the ARMA community could easily have 60+ people in one single TeamSpeak channel.

And that audio also simulated proper distances between individual players, but which also worked through the in-game radios, Interference (either because of in-game distance, or mountains or in-game jammers)

And also allowed players to switch in-game Radio channels to only hear other people on those channels and not everyone else.

Well, TeamSpeak is primarily not text-chat focused. It doesn't have embeds, in either images or videos. It doesn't have a selection of emotes. It doesn't have gif or webm support

The most annoying thing about Discord is they never developed a cross channel communication system. It's why my gaming group still uses Teamspeak so you can silo squads into their own comm groups, have the squad leaders have leadership comms, and have the Op leader be able to talk to everyone at once if needed. Teamspeak will never die

If this is in regard to ARMA, it's why TeamSpeak is the Go-To for game based communication within a single channel. The effort has been done by the Mod makers of ACRE for Teamspeak, as the ACRE mod allows for the capability of 100+ people to be in one channel, but communicate with each other as if they were seperated.

If everything it does works phenomenally in TeamSpeak, why would they put the effort into making it also work for Discord, right? Making it work in TeamSpeak was already hard enough

Today I learned that viewing a video like this which has any sort of AI discussion tilts my current Youtube video algorithm. Seeing my suggested videos now is incredible, AI thumbnails, AI generated videos, AI discussions, AI news, Click Bait Videos, Rage Bait Videos. Youtube is so cooked with this stuff now.
