As for server stuff you might be interested in: today a server was launched with 30 ish mods on it and 200 people on it and having 0 issues (civilizations style server)

we also have queue system that can be enabled in config options for server

as for the mods we have a neat thingie: mods are fetched from our mod site automatically when joining server (and they are per server specific) and client does not need any restarts as well.
thus compared to the other voxel game server owners don't need to distribute additional downloads for players to join server as it can be done with vanilla client

do a bunch of dwarven quests, get 2 dragon pickaxes, take one ot the lava fields, get it gilded, get 4 pieces of a fragmented pickaxe, take those parts with a redberry pie to the only dwarf who deals with this crap, do a bunch of other elven quests to get access to the elven city, THEN get 4k crystal dust from somewhere, combine the dust with one of the pickaxes then go to a very hidden and out of the way area to combine both pickaxes using a hammer that costs 1mil gp
