Schools were never set up to teach and prepare children how to handle adulthood. If they were, they would be teaching the very basics of how to survive on their own. How to rent an apartment/own a house. How to set up utilities, etc.

Instead, schools are used to have children be set up as obedient consumers.

The only way to truly educate yourself, is to branch out on your own. Focus on what you want to learn, seek out the appropriate and proper sources and grow your own tree of knowledge.

Too many "what is your opinion " and "how do you feel about" questions that apparently only have one right answer and after a few years I was obviously not wanting to deal with it

i went from getting Fs in math to A+ in just 3 years because of a school change and got an actual good teacher

i had a couple that were notorisouly bad. They did not teach. They handed out a pacet and said do this, read these pages in the textbook. Imo you need to at least stand up, give a presentation, answer quwestions. That's what teaching is ya know

my entire class for 5 years was just given a piece of paper with math problems and being told do these and that was it
