I think that whole voice thing is not due to any sort of filter, but due to his mic setup and how he talks. He has said he doesn't like to yell cause it strains his voice, so he keeps the mic close to his mouth and speaks in a softer tone

this causes the mic to pick up more of the natural bass notes in his voice. to add to that when you speak softer (or at least when I do it) your voice naturally lowers down a bit so hes using a slighly lower register on stream combined with the mic picking up more bass notes

this is exactly what NPR is known for, so if that is "using a voice changer" than the whole of NPR is too

He got bloodwork done last year when my other cat was having bladder issues (she had diabetes insipidus and would guzzle water and have to pee everywhere, got her meds and she was so much better) and he is totally fine! He's been like this since I got him, even when he was eating exclusively wet food/soaked hard food.
No excessive urination, just a healthy amount for the amount of water he drinks (which is more than a normal cat, but not like... insane)
