since its japanese and they're doing something unique, be warned they use AI for many of the CGs but its blended together in a realistic way most won't notice immediatly. Asians have a slightly different mentality towards that stuff to make editing and putting in cgi easier to do.

Yeah I think similar, though I think all AI somehow contains some data without consent or that people don't know about. AI is still very primitive and people need to figure out the ropes and licensing. the CG in the channel is really nice blend. I think they use unity and blender models and then use AI to make it more photorealistic.

That's true, now that I think about it, that means older algorithms before 2022 for face change they stole data of real peoples smiles, then it's applied by finding smile on your inputed image > if found > replace with grin. I feel the issue here is that old "AI" (compared to new "AI", anything about LLMs/genAI is not really AI yet) required insane amounts of data to even work.

They began to narrow it down so you don't have to yoink basically all of human creation and I'd either buy a license or a "AI pack" that you can run locally in it that has been licensed and acknowledged by the creators. Would be awesome because theres also quality assurance with that but thats gonna be far future stuff.

I can see "industrial quality" (think ILM/WETA quality) AI being sold 5k-500k that looks amazing, works amazing and can be used for all sorts of stuff, like for movies and stuff. maybe theres budget solutions too.
