Being great is a goal.
But doing it because you want along the way to that goal is more important imo.

• Thor worked as a business operations and information security consultant for the company that makes it, taking minimum wage by legal mandate but says he would have been willing to do it for free if possible because he just likes the people there and wants to help them
• The owner of the company made a post that day about getting review bombed, asked people to stop, and said that he supports Stop Killing Games
• A week after that, Thor made a post about the review bomb and that he was stepping down from a consulting position so they'd stop getting flak by association
• Both Thor and the owner have also said that a significant majority of those reviews have since been edited to positive on account of the owner's post and Thor stepping down

The counter-narrative:

• There was no review bomb, because there are no negative reviews now
• Which means the owner's post just came out of nowhere to get publicity and was lying about the review bomb
• He and Thor have been coming up with this conspiracy to lie about this so that Thor can garner sympathy by stepping down from a position he was doing for fun that gave him a federal minimum wage

The level of mental gymnastics involved here is insane, and even when all of this is pointed out, no one I've talked to has budged at all
Because clearly Thor is just a terrible person and nothing he does or doesn't do will change that
