you can also download software that shows you the temps of your parts

cpu and gpu specifically

sometimes it will just tell you in task manager though

but if it doesnt, then you can use additional software

40-70 range is ok, 80 is pushing it anything above 80 is a real problem

i average 45 on my gpu and my cpu is usually at 60-70 for reference (at rest)

surrounding air temperature will also matter if the air is warm around you then the laptop will be too
