Another gripe I ran into yesterday is with Udemy. It seems that they have decided to no longer ask for a Password when logging in. Instead they decided to do a "Passwordless" login where they email a code that you have to enter INSTEAD of a password... Supposedly to "improve security"... So frustrating.

I took a different approach, I learned Dvorak on the split keyboard, with the idea of keeping the muscle memory for standard keyboards. It took a couple of months, but worked out great in the end, I have no issues transitioning between keyboards.

The standard QWERTY layout has been designed to minimize typewriter hammer collisions/jamming rather than to optimize efficiency/flow. Dvorak supposedly addresses that by changing where each letter and symbol is placed to be more efficient. However I heard that while it might be more efficient for text typing, Dvorak is maybe even less efficient for programming.
