It was better to play along live, but the condensed version gets the important bits
otherwise, it's like 60+ hours
I will check it out then, thank you! š
He spent many hours jumping around doing "nothing"
Really, guys, we should stop trying to prove the haters that their points are bullshit. They know.
Some of which we can't watch because the VoD is older* than Twitch allows it to be saved for, and Youtube doesn't keep the stream after 11Hrs and 55mins
That too.
It was kind of evident by the pieces he did find, and iirc chat also said so
The haters are reaching so far they resemble Stretch Armstrong
Because although chat are discouraged from giving answers, if you say something is only solvable with help, that's not giving an answer to a puzzle. So... chat told him
Semantics, He didn't solve it ''alone'' Ergo, He cheated ( Except, It was a community Effort. )
scroll up. We're not repeating ourselves here.
Which secret ending
also.
Where in the video is it?
so I can check which one you mean
It's not that long ago, jeez. Scroll up to the rabbit pic and the conversation around there
@sour geyser i think?
oh no, not this boss, I hope he has the dps for it
ah alright, i was only paying half attention š
We found the first wingding, then spent many many hours trying to find more
So you gloss over him staring at the screen, Noticing the pattern at the wall?
At the end there were probably like 40 hours of stream grasping at any straw
yeah the wingding puzzle is what most experienced animal well players are taking most issue with. It seems super SUS
The only thing we really skipped over was the speedrunner thing
you can literally watch the part in the video where he's working on getting the wingdings
So is this Animal well for content creators with a community or can I sit down alone and play it and go to their discord when I see a puzzle needs others? Or was it a one and done thing?
When LSF accuses Thor of something
instantly believes it
When people defend Thor
asks more questions and evidence than the FBI
For anything that required a community to solve, there was a community in the Discord for Animal Well.
I would also add that the dude has badges for hacking and puzzle solving, so there's no doubt he is pretty good at solving puzzles.
This LSF stuff is nonsense. End of.
How else would he have done the puzzle other than solving it himself when no walkthrough existed for it? Come on buddy use your head.
I am very sane and well spoken.
This game is awesome as hell.

There's also the tiny tiny fact that there were no solutions available at the time ...
^
Yep, it wasn't solved until that point
''Reasonable Question'' When it all ONLY Now shows up cause of all the other drama.
Drama Digging, And reaching at non-exsistent straws
He wasn't the first person to complete it, it had already been completed when he did his run
Same puzzle
I miss the days when someone would just say something racist and get banned. Now we gotta go through deposition and interrogation before they are outed
do you mean when the longplay was uploaded, or do you mean when he streamed it
''Streamer Plays puzzle game.'' - ''Solves Hard puzzle.'' - ''Gets into some drama later.'' - ''Gets called fake, Cheater, Etc with lack of evidence.'' - ''Internet Eats it up like it's absolute Fact.''
Get your stories straight fellas
Your "genuine question" is looking less and less genuine
That's called being a reasonable person lmao
cuz you can't use the longplay upload date as when he solved it
The bunny picture isnt the same as the wingding puzzle. They're two separate ones. The wingding puzzle doesn't need the community to solve it
shroud also **looks ** like he is aimbotting but no there just exists extraordinary people
I'm dismissing it cause of the timing OF The question.
Actually no we can't see how long you've followed or subbed for
I honestly donāt understand why are you so invested to get a detailed reasoning of how he didnāt cheat lol
Plenty of time from then to now for it to be asked, But to ask it at this point, when Thor is in the spotlight of Drama.
what do you think is contradictory about that?
I think it's time to go watch ferrets again.
Yeah it's quite interesting why they're so invested in this and the timing of it all
Or in the words of the baby:
"It had already been completed"
"It took the entire community weeks to solve"
Try to understand, the community has been dealing with heinus crap for a while now and it's kinda ragged
yeah after weeks they solved it so it was completed ?
Was it completed at the time of him streaming, or at the time of him uploading the Longplay is what they're asking.
You're avoiding that question
It's the good ol' "You're lying, give me proof that you're not." "Do you have proof that I'm lying?" "I just know you're lying" problem
Does anyone know when he streamed it? because that would just put this to bed
can someone give me a link to the twitter post regarding of? i have no twitter but want to know what the situation is
Thor didn't played the game for weeks. So how could have could it simultaneously been completed, and also took the entire community weeks to solve
Is your head just for decoration or something
So pirate is the first one to solve it?
No. I'm asking if that's what you're implying
likely not
I mean if you played CoD after other people have played it, are you not a cheater?!!! /s
The mental gymnastitcs going on rn are wild.
honestly dude you really dont. its just reddit going bananas and everyone making stuff that's very clearly false
People accusing someone of something and asking for proof, but if you ask for evidence of why they accused in the first place you're in the wrong. Backwards logic
Olympic level
looking at it, the last animal well stream was on 19th of may, while an article about the puzzle being solved was written 20th of may
I mean, Everyone cheats at CoD, That's just known facts.
so it was right around the same time
no im implying that the community solved it before Pirate. Which means that pirate could look up the info?
Could doesn't mean he did.
but he didnt
You could look up Anything at any time, Doesn't mean you do
Game came out on the 9th aswell
So likely he was one of the first
If so, why would he have spent Multiple hours and days solving the puzzle he "Already knew how to solve"
I was there for most of the time live, there were times where he was stuck for close to an hour that got cut
THIS. Was just googling this and found the same stats.
But these questions don't seem like they're asked in good faith
Community Effort: Helps solve it, Gets called cheater months later.
But 30s Twitch clips are so much more accurate than a whole 12h stream to tell a full story. Get your redditing right!
the longplay is not something you can use to determine when it was solved cause it's a compilation of about 2 weeks of different streams in 1 video uploaded later
Could and did are too different statements. First prove he did look up before asking others to prove he hadnāt
I wish Youtube actually kept streams over 12 hours, that would just settle this completely
Yep and some people are just failing to realize this, must be their first day on the interwebs š
yep
Because of the timing š
so yeah, while there's a possibility thor looked it up, what's more likely imo is that he was solving the puzzle parallel to/ together with the community
Thor: Wins multiple puzzle solving awards at a puzzle sovling convention. Skeptics: How could he solve puzzles?
Well yeah, the onus is on the people making the allegations to prove it
i guess he wanted to make it look like he solved it on his own? I think its a pretty valid questions considering how long it took for the whole community to solve it together (the wingding puzzle)
You're acting as if he's not part of said community.
late reply ofc they dont have 2 cells in hell, you only get 1 cell in hell and its usually shared
he was actually scared|| at the printer part,|| you could see it
Those same people are also doubting him winning 3 black badges at DEFCON or trying to say he didn't earn it by himself but only his team earned it for him. That's the level we're at
No. These are not questions. You are repeating accusations despite any explanation and links.
Either move on, or keep doing this but you will get banned
AND they have to share it with the orange cats
i mean the post thor just mentioned. i really dont want to get into drama, but im interested what our goblin lord said, because he clearly is evading the topic which he never did before in my memory
lmao I remember that
but i dont think he was a part of the community effort that solved it before he started his playthrough?
Reaching at straws to make up their own story instead of trying to find the actual truth
Thats what i was referring to.
''You don't think'' That's the problem right there.
Are you able to provide any proof of Thor wanting to make it look like he solved it on his own? I hope you're not fishing with this comment
ah. which one did he reference
Answers have already been given
he just said "read the twitter post" and just went on
Chat, we need to play the same game Jason and yeenevalie are doing. Just keep asking them for proof whenever they make a statement up about Thor
then...go to twitter?
it's in #news
that too!
We're literally telling you the truth, and you're questioning everything as if we're paid shills
So what you're saying is: Your idea that he might have faked his run came to you in a dream?
I need proof you havent been doing that.
I wish I was a paid shill
would mean I would get paid to tell the truth

Yeah? Prove it
One more reason their questions don't seem genuine, actually
Or, The Un-truth, depending on who you ask
To be fair, Jason hasn't. I understand everyone has their back up but that dosen't help the situation. If you don't want to answer then don't interact
no that's just the alternate reality truth
I don't have proof, but i have bread
the state of this channel today
adam savage knows what's up
He sure do
Today? You should've seen it for the last week
touche
To be fair, its been a pretty terrible week for this community so I can see why they're cautious but it dosen't excuse it
My guy, you've gotten answers and then said the answers werent good enough. What did you expect would happen?
mmmm pizza
Come on buddy you gotta use your common sense at some point today
They need more 'proof'
Indeeed
The goal posts are moving very fast
Also. Something is sus on this topic. These two people seem to interchangably chat.
if we send bread to the mods and thor opens it to prevent them from having bread, can he be arrested for obstruction of correspondence
This is what Thor said happens: shifting the goal post
i have bertuccis rolls and dipping sauce that they deserve
It's just funny reading people answer questions and these people asking for more proof. Meanwhile the original accusations are just assumed as factual
I'm just extolling the virtues of pizza
God you guys on both sides, i'm going to start investing in tinfoil
If you want to solve a problem, you need to form a hypothesis and try to both prove and disprove this hypothesis. Playing devil's advocate doesn't get you anywhere
Ima take a step back and do you a solid: Why dont you go watch him play games on stream? The way he plays games is very consistent. You should be able to pick up pattens of him reading stuff and solving things in real time.
It's more that baseless claims gets met with questions
To clarify, the accusations against whom? Because if you mean those against Thor, no they're not.
costco has a sale going can you get me some
I never called you a hater
@hollow yacht you where right....
i hate the internet
Extra ordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. We've been offering you sensible rebuttals, but all you've been doing is offering conjecture at best
tis a cursed place
idk what even was the question anymore, is it the "did he just look up a walktrhough for the final puzzle" or something
Well said Dan. @sour geyser this is simply what we are on about.
it surely is
I think all we can really offer at this time is; Thor was speaking with the people in the animal well discord at the time and completed the game on the 19th - 20th and the game was release on the 9th. Thor has a history of puzzle solving including a career in penetration testing
I personally believe that he solved all but the community puzzle on his own and then worked with the community and participated in the Discord to solve that one
I said you should watch him play games. If you pay attention to the WAY he plays games, you would see his deductive reasoning, and would see that him figuring out things in real time is how he plays.
Accurate assesment In my opinion
Friendly reminder that arguments from incredulity are worthless.
"I can't believe Thor did it" doesn't mean he didn't
He ''solved'' the community puzzle, Alone, Without being a part of the community? Yeh nah.
He OBVIOUSLY was part of it.
It's quite extraordinary. Thor is indeed a very talented person at solving puzzles. I hope you're not trying to insinuate anything else.
And why is it hard to believe he may be smart enough to solve it?
Itās like saying every time a sports world record is beat, the sportsperson must have been cheatingā¦
I think we can drop it now, this isn't productive
I can't believe Usain Bolt would cheat by training and being good at running fast
Yeah feel like we are walkimg in circles
how long did it actually take to solve? Thor also makes his own puzzles so its not that weird he could also solve them
Can't believe he was genetically bred to be the fastest man in the world.
No, don't do this, you'll attract two rabid dogs!
Then the answer you seek is not something you can have with an argument like this. To answer this question, you need accurate info, timings, research and investigate all the evidence collected from it. Either by yourself or with a group of people. You're not going to find any type of answer from arguing about it, especially not in the span of 10 minutes
This is what bugs me about this. Jason acknowleges and agrees with some points. In they're last sentence, they make a statement that may be interpreted as them insinuating or accusing Thor of cheating.
Jaosn, can you confirm with me that I am indeed wrong in my assumption and you do not think Thor cheated?
Ar we again back to the same topic?
Something like that, yep
It circled back.
also, if it was cheated... man would he suck at cheating, took multiple streams
ok case closed
We went through this every day. It was shit and its like going to be a week ago.
Drop it and get a hobby or touch some grass
Its boring now
The Animal Well Community = Help.
But you dismiss him being a part of it.
With what evidence exactly, Personal opinion?
Not sure about superhuman feat, but he may have superhuman feet š
have you actually watched the longplay
What do you think? Do you accept the answer that Thor is just good at solving puzzles then?
In that way, we can put to rest that you are insinuating statements about Thor cheating based on conjecture.
I think we're missing a very important question that should've been asked before arguing about any of it
Certain Streamer and Youtuber now trying to nitpick everything. Get a grip on your life man. They just want views and you bringing it
Has Thor ever claimed, insinuated or made it appear on purpose that he solved the entirety of the puzzle on his own?
At what point was it said to be a ''Blind Run'' ?
Quick, someone go ask Thor on stream about the allegations of him having superhuman feet.
stream just ended
Thor is already off stream
also I doubt he'd answer that
NOOOO. He has to answer the allegations!
Them lawyers at that Suits show asks less questions than this š
I mean are we sure he exists from the waist down? I only saw him in shorts and streams
Prove me he has a full body!!
Are we bread posting again yet?
I see. Thank you for your answer.
What if, He looked up that puzzle, On the Animal Well Discord, Because it's a community effort, but solved the rest on his own?
idk I think he gets that one from the community
Have you seen him IRL does he actually exist at all??
Yes but did he claim or tried to make it appear that he solved it on his own entirely? That question is important
What if, Thor is an AI Supercomputer, that can parralel Park in the Shower?!
I need to know about the allegations of him having superhuman feet!
I mean I saw videos of him, but that may be edited only!!
His feet are ferrets or ai
BEHOLD, CHAT!

āOMG HES SO BAD, POSER, WHY DIDNT HE USE HIS HACKSā
thor does good at a video game
āHES SO GOOD, HE MUST HAVE USED HIS HACKSā
Shrodingerās chat
I think we would need much more definitive proof before making such accusations or assumptions. Innocent until proven guilty as @opaque zealot loves to say
That answer has nothing to do with the question
#cooking ?
Oh don't worry baby bird, I'll feed you. The baby bread needs time to groe.
Grow*
*grove
Just because he is a hacker and worked for certain companys doesnt mean he must be a pro in every game?
I mean probably but the last three days I came in here to bread posting
groove*
At this point, the answer You're only looking for is not here. You're free to stay and converse, But at this point, This topic is moot because you're unwilling to consider anything we say.
You're right, I do indeed love proof. Its great when people have evidence, up until that point its all speculation
People tryna tear down a dude for being a normal dude that pauses his stream to have a heart to heart with a chatter whoās going through a rough time⦠tells you a lot about the world we live in
Blind doesn't denote looking things up, Blind denotes looking things up BEFORE playing.
Yeah it is rough
So he did not claim that this alledgedly very difficult puzzle that took the whole community to solve was solved by himself on his own with no help?
I don't fault the curiousity. I am a bit annoyed that the default stance you have taken is that Thor must have cheated and you're putting the burden on everyone here to prove that he didn't. Accusing someone of cheating means it's on you to provide definitive proof of the cheating.
Some people just pull out proof up their ass and make theorys that cannot be proofen right or false. So its better to just leave it :3
Then why are you rephrasing your answer trying to paint Thor as a cheater?
Listen.
The only proof anybody needs is that of their bread before it bakes.
Never believe what streamer or youtuber say. It can always be false
I mean, proof is proof. If its made up then its not factual
also fireproof
So now you are questioning the theory of superhuman feet
Nono. BUTTER on their fresh backed bread
Well it's settled then. So why did you say he was dishonest about doing it blind when you agree he was open about doing it blind except for that one puzzle?
Do you have not superhuman feet?
Is this something you know? Or something you think you know?
Inquiring minds NEED to know.
Then its always the thing. Is it just false proof that never existed or is it real proof
What about human superfeet?
Won my first run on Balatro mobile, they said it couldnāt be done
I think you know exactly which ones we're referring to.
And now your addicted. Gz
I heard from LSF that Thor has extra large feet. Please show me evidence that Thor does not have extra large feet or else this rumor will remain factual
You're saying he didn't solve the ''Community Puzzle'' on his own. Because you don't believe it's possible?
And I think I'm done arguing with you.
Iāve earned my blueprint joker finally
You said the Wingdings Puzzle.
And does Superman have superfeet, or itās just regular feet, but then where does his super parts end and the regular parts begin
Hacker
And why would he not be capable of solving it? Because no one had so far?
Its all measured in probability and information. So far there's nothing factual against Thor's playthrough to say he didn't solve these puzzles other than assumption
And considering Thor's career and accomplishments, that makes it significantly more probable that he did solve all but the community puzzle on his own
When you say "Weeks to solve", what exactly was the timeframe on this? Because we know for a fact that Thor last streamed Animal Well on May 19th. An article came out May 20th about the community solving it. The longplay on YouTube was only published months later (July 27th), so that's not to be considered as when he solved it.
Also the real answer re: Thor's feet is as follows:
We are Goblins. He is the Goblin King.
That means he has David Bowie feet.
Well either he did look up some or not doesnt mean he can think and prob doing them himself? I got done puzzles myself without looking it up what other people took weeks to finish š¤·āāļø
Do these people have proof that Thor looked up hints?
Yeah but the question isn't if he could, its if he did and personally I believe he did
I mean, this is just pure logic
Without concrete facts at the base, the entire argument and discussion is quite literally worthless. Either you know a concrete piece of information and you want to see if it's true or not, or you don't and everything is pure speculation and conjecture. If he did claim he did those puzzles on his own, then you have a base but you have to back that up with a source first. Otherwise it means nothing at all, it's literally a waste of time
I've scrolled through the longplay and like I can see places where he literally dreams up a theory to make animals be angry and then does those, and finds wingdings
Send me to heaven rn
Can I borrow the razor? I really need to shave
We never know what is going on on the other monitors exactly. Could be anything. Same with the phone. I see many people looking on their phone while streaming. Just because a ping or so came in that interested them
You're putting burden on people on here to provide proof based on nothing
The nerve to invoke Occam's Razor... "It's more likely that he cheated than that he solved this very difficult puzzle by himself", they say. No, it's more likely that someone with a couple of puzzle solving awards under their belt solved a difficult puzzle on their own, than that they cheated to solve it and managed to hide it from an entire community for months, right up until they were in the middle of a bullshit drama and people started calling them out on it.
No questions š³
Could be a Ferret related message, Or something from Khronos. So yeah. Could be 'anything' and without evidence, Claiming he looked up a guide is equally moot
But claiming it's a guide, At this point in time, is in bad faith.
In the end theorys are theorys. But there is no 100% proof š¤·āāļø
Provide proof that Thor cheated, then we can discuss. Until then, innocent until proven guilty
Don't assume someone cheated
We are asking You for Proof, of your assumption
Could claim all the time he is looking up stuff. Earlier he was looking for a while to his right monitor. It was AoC related discord stuff i assume. Do i know this for sure? Of course not since im not living there
You're encroaching on accusing them of thought crime at this point, best to just drop it
Yeah spoiler alert: I lost that run
I mean, we have a term for this... it's called sealioning
They are accusing Thor of cheating and are asking for burden of proof based on different conjectures they bring up. If you fail to understand this, it's probably best if you stop replying to me as we disagree on this.
Reasonable conclusions with no proof
Ask next time about noita. He had ZERO clue for a couple of months. Did he find out himself about stuff? Yes to a point. Rest was chat and something looked up I ASSUME
"The facts as I know them" aren't facts they're opinions. Facts aren't what you know, they're what you have
There you go, No Proof, Wild conjecture, While we've got a bit more than that, We've got Thors word. We work under the assumption that he told us the truth.
Same is for animal well. In the end its more like if you enjoy the content and all. Dont question anything. Because you will never have a 100% answer
Any proof that Thor cheated?
I need proof that it took them weeks.
Tbf now i wanna rewatch animal well because i really enjoyed the gameplay š¤
it took them about 2 weeks afaik
Yes but saying that isn't a fact, it's vague. What are the timings? The dates? The claims? The sources? Without all of that, arguing is literally meaningless and pointless. Nobody is going to get out of this conversation with any sort of added value to any side of the argument
I would rewatch it aswell, but I'm starting to get a headache
I read 1984 and I believe this isn't thoughtcrime
animal well release was 9th of may, I see articles about that puzzle being solved on 20th of may
that's like 11 days
Guys, I honestly am looking for proof that Thor cheated. Someone once said innonent until proven guilty. I believe we should not accuse or insinuate Thor on his own discord channel of cheating without proof.
They could have faked it.
Its sad that people ruin the fun in rewatching because some weird dude said its faked or something
The Timing of all these ''Innocent Questions'' are just...
yes
and last animal well stream from thor was 19th of may
so thor solved it about the same time
Plenty of time, AT the time of solving, to question it.
That's not what I said, I'm saying when did it happen? Concrete information and details. Jfc
we've already said this like an hour ago
It's pretty obvious to anyone with a brain really
so we're just going in circles
I'm sorry but someone that presents themselves as "unbiased" and then goes on to assume someone's opinion is ironic but fine i'll leave you to it
it really is
It's also worth remembering that that ending may have been streamed before the 19th. I don't recall the order of events, so the 19th might have been something else he was trying to show?
You can also choose to ignore it, let it go, and continue to enjoy thorās content if you wish š
maybe yea
Trust me i remember people trying puzzle for days and i do them in an instant. Sometimes people dont think outside a box and think in black and white
So we all agree that Thor is innocent until proven guilty and we won't make assumptions or insinuations about Thor cheating without definitive proof.
just going with the "worst" case stuff
hm
The Puzzle in question is in the later end of the Longplay, so I 'assume' it's near the end of his timeframe of streaming the game
Oh dont worry. A diskussion is always nice to have :3
Thor and the mods doing a awesome job ššš¤
Exactly. That would be logical, but we don't know. At the latest, he would have streamed it on the 19th, that's all we do know.
Gosh I feel sorry for them today. Hope they and Thor are doing alright
Yeah
If that's what you think, go ahead. Don't ask people in Thor's chat to try to justify things based on the assumption that Thor cheated with no definitive proof of said cheating
lols
those hate watchers are the problem
You asking for things and openly talking about certain events being extraordinary may be taken by many people here as insinuations that Thor cheated. I hope we're all wrong and you're not insinuating that.
The guy has Defcon badges.
I saw same happened to reforge gaming aka saynotorage
thor has certainly not cheated at animal well, as no guide was out for some of the puzzles he solved
so -shrug-
Until this is tackled the proper way, arguing about it is useless and a waste of time to everyone. There's no "I think" or "I saw" or "I know" there's links and sources.
Did you read the entire thing above?
no lol
Sadly some are not beliving :<
ooo. Maybe next they'll accuse him of cheating at defcon.
Save your sanity then, Ain't worth it
Don't give them ideas
Omg I need this reaction image
Here's another one
I'm playing 3D chess. They accuse him of cheating and piss off the Defcon community. Hilarity ensues.
You're contradicting yourself there. You think he's exceptional, but you also think he cheated
I have a kirbo plusie
Which parts do you think he faked?
I missed a Kirbo plush? I'll never forgive myself for it
Your repetition of the word "fake" is doing a lot of work in that message and gives away your true feeling. I do not believe he faked it, if that's what you're asking. And a lot of us watched it live, not just the cut down on YouTube.
Don't worry, I'll forgive yourself for you
I'm willing to say it is possible but I don't think it's appropriate to create discussions around making people gather evidence to debunk said possibility. The default stance should be it is possible but we're not going to assume that.
I dont even know what animal well is. Is it a well? Filled with animals? Man thats a little fricked up
They seem happy enough
It's a "Well" filled with "Animals"
And puzzles
And nightmares
Oh good drops a piece of candy down the well
Oh, no-one here said he's perfect. He has flaws, like anyone else. But this is a question of integrity, and he's only shown himself to be a man of integrity
I understand the echochamber dangers. This is insinuating/accusing/discussions of cheating which is a very big deal and so more burden of proof is needed before approaching this specific topic
As we've said. You've got an assumption that he did cheat/fake him solving it, We've asked you to provide concrete evidence for this, You deflect that. As such I work under the assumption that you're just trying to act in bad faith
There is no perfect Human being
Superhuman Feet
Hulk Feet?
Challenging an idea isn't obviously "healthy" if it's done wrong. I will say I believe personally that you have done it wrong. This is not the way to do that
Maybe he's hiding his superhuman feet in his onlyfans
and I repost again
Also mind you, you didn't ask a single question and let it go when someone answered. You went through a whole rabbit hole of questioning and asking for proof on a multitude of events and instances throughout the past hour. This is all based on no proof of Thor cheating mind you. I hope you understand why people in here feel the way they feel.
Which is the problem, You pick the option that fits a certain narrative that he faked it, Without concrete proof, cause it's the ''More likely one'' But what if, Thor is just THAT good at puzzles? It's not impossible. So having an opinion and trying to simply 'claim' that he did fake it, Is just counter-productive and is acting in bad faith.
I want to compare the way you've approached it to kicking a hornet's nest because you believe it'll advance research on hornets. No, you're just going to make the hornets angry, and you're not going to get any valuable information other than "Hornets stings are painful" and "I need an ambulance"
I wonder what Occam's hairbrush is?
Let's simplify it. Jason thinks Thor faked it, Makes claim. We disagree with the claim and provide points & counter-claims, Jason doubles down cause ''He Thinks'' Based on his own claims. But doesn't provide with any concrete evidence other than ''I think'' or ''I believe''
Well considering the man is bald, I don't think he has one
Do you have proof that he was bald? That looks fake,
More hair in the face than on head. I feel that
Of course he is bald, he used his razor
You disagree, And don't provide any other points, You repeat the same ones that we've provided counter-points to.
You're right, the Arcanum Luau picture from 1984 shows him with hair
The burden of proof of accusing someone of cheating is higher and these 'facts' are just the puzzles being hard to solve
So where do we sit on Occam's hairbrush?
You donāt sit in a hairbrush, it will prick your butt
what about the other end
either on the handle or the brush, I suppose
If you ask an EMT, You don't unless it's got a flaired base.
I say its a hairbrush. I say its a brush for his beard
You can break it
Zing. That was a poor phrasing.
I'll have you know I almost choked
You're welcome, Also. Hope you're okay
that's why the EMT is here
You have a point there but I hope you also realize that you came in bringing up LSF talking points
Oh I'm fine, just the wrong time to be eating some chocolate lol
Which kind, White, Dark, Orange Flavoured?
dark w/ orange creme
ooo, Fancy
Russell Stover tryna put me in the hospital right after I get insurance, damn
You're talking to a brick wall at this point.
And conceding points to it. Which seems like a bad idea.
I really don't remember this part of Pink Floyd's The Wall. I guess I have to listen to it again
In the end that video with animal was only created (from what i know) because of the wow thing. Move on. Bet there is a ton of streamers/youtube who cheat/look up stuff while you believe they do it on their on. š¤·āāļø Its a circle you need to step out
No. I have been watching this silently and your bar of evidence has been moving, bud. You're not seeking a conversation, you're seeking either converts or confirmation bias
Fair enough
No point in continuing, nobody is going anywhere this way. Better to move on from now on
Im hoping lsf moves on, they're getting close i think
Hopefully, but doubt it for at least another week or two
I'm pretty sure I said it's better to move on and not talk about it again
Quick, best way to change the subject
These kind of people build their viewers on those kind of videos. The moment they have nothing else they loosing viewers fast and vanish into the blank
Confusion
In the interest of moving on, what is your opinion of Thor's superhuman feet?
They have an unhealthy view of streamers
I say his legs are just ferrets stacked up
The problem is, if we change the subject, then we get accused of avoiding answering or being an "echo chamber". Cannot win with these folks.
Sadly. Because i feel streamers feel more "real" than youtubers in my eyes. They cannot retake a certain sentence or so
Yes you can. By not playing.
Except, There are long-term haters that will dig indefinitely.
Smelly sounds like normal feet problems. I feel like superhuman feet would not smell.
I say that while being guilty of playing myself, but...
And engaging is also not a win either. It's better to move on and just think of your own sanity rather than trying to explain or prove something to someone that will never give you a straight answer
it cant come soon enough. its been wild to see what claims are being made all over the place. youd think thor was a serial killer given the scale of hatred
Theres real time interaction, thats the main diff
As much interesting as someone farts in another house or so
Nah, it's actually a far more monstrous crime: the crime of being good at something.
and not proving them wrong, only leaves space for this nonsense to grow or more daft conspiracies to grow. Again, can't win
Yes, so not playing is the best move since playing will not get you anywhere either
Yes. Except.... Vtuber/streamer. They can only be hold back by grass
post cat
You can never prove them wrong. Not to themselves. They're not arguing in good faith, they want the argument to go on, and on, and on, because that's their fix.
Catte...
In french, Cat is Chat. So this means this whole Chat needs more Chats
I mean, you're not wrong there. It's just sad that this is society these days. Far too many addicted to drama and tearing people down, not enough lifting up and inspiring
ELECT THIS ONE IMMEDIATELY SO THEY CAN IMPLEMENT THEIR POLICIES
#maros2025 - chats for all
I have no idea but I do want to know now
It's not society. It's a portion of it. On the internet.
Personally, I only argue with someone up until I'm convinced they're trolling, at which point I block them.
Does wonders for my mental health.
Here's a weird Chat
That's a red panda
I wonder if Khronos can confirm or deny the superhuman feet.
I have a random cat saved on my phone
yeah they come from LSF and there is a certain community that thor pissed of, by refuting the adpocalypse bs .. and they are not good faith actors, they will make shit up and they will hold their idiot grudges for years .. if you think im exagerating, ask hasan who gets this type of dumb hate for years from that same community
I know, this cat is so weird it looks like one
Car
C'est so confusant
And now i wish this youtuber can shut his mouth for eternity D: Just so the hate finally stopts
between the adpocalypse people and stop killing games, theres plenty of people with an axe to grind pushing this
Everyone has cute pics of their cats while mine looks at me like this
yea stop killing games too, but i think the adpocalypse guys are more vindictive
i feel this cat in my soul
Grumpy Cute
People being missinformed and hating on others (deaththreats and so on) should be a felony ngl
Yeaaahhh stop killing games, people did not like. At least that one i understand, you have to dig down and understand how the business works to see that its not going to really work.
i dunno - i think both communities have shown theyre plenty vindictive
Death threats are a felony
I need to look back on what StopKillingGames is but Adpocalypse was something a lot of people cried, and Thor basically disproved with stats and statistics right?
I diddnt even payed much attention to the adpocalypse. Do i need to dive into that? D:
In theory, stop killing games is a great idea... in theory.
Yes i know but some dont get punished for these sadly
he did, but the problem was that the misinfo machine was already in full swing, and it rapidly turned into a rage machine when he decided to disagree with them
jup, stop killing games was that attempt to gather signatures to basically force companys to keep life service games alive, no matter what
Yes and No. It wassn't exactly that, but it was one of the ideas
People also did not like that Thor talked authoritativey about it
not rly, it was fake nonsense that fell apart quickly
Ok good
I remember Thor's issue with the SKG movement was that the text was too vague and things like this need to be very precise and thoughtful of how it's written down
But people saw "He's against the movement because he's a dev and all devs are evil!" type stuff
Yeah Thor seemingly has this āābadāā habit of standing against bandwagons with facts and people hate him for not standing in line with whatās trending, but using critical thinking to form an own opinion
If all devs are evil... Why are you using any kind of phone and so on? ANYTHING was programmed smh people have no clue wtf they talking about
OK, now I'm intrigued by SKG. I just looked up what it is, so it's an attempt to force companies to stop publishing games designed to become unplayable over time, but how do they do that exactly?
How do companies make their games unplayable I mean
Because if they stopped, they couldnāt play victims and complain you see
Did Thor talk today about threatlocker much? I only saw that it was sponsored by them near the end of his stream. Concerned cause itās a kernel level module and heās obviously been against those in the past and itās probably implemented similar to how cloudstrike was too. Would like some clarification.
Live service games that can only be played through a server held by the game's creators
Without said server, you can't play the game because that's how they're designed
Oh, I see. Games as a service, right?
I know. But then everything would go down if noone is programming anything. There is so many "interesting" people out there
''Always Online'' Or Games like The Crew 2, Where you HAVE To connect to a server to play. When server is shut down, No more game.
im not disagreing necessarily, but you have to remember the adpocalypse stuff was done specifically by kick streamers to damage twitches reputation and paint the whole platform as antisematic, its much more deranged than the SKG stuff i think
Like run on servers, and when the game gets unpopular and would stop the servers, I guess they ahould release the possibility for people to host their own servers?
Exactly. Like The Crew, you can't play it anymore
Their target is companies, not a normal user
OK, makes sense. I've always hated the very concept of "games as a service", it always sounded fishy to me, but I couldn't put my finger on why. Now I know.
But asking companies to keep games alive forever is too vague, you need to make a whole complex document that explains every single possible situation in explicit detail to make sure nobody is caught in the crossfire
Tbh issue is even esports commentators and people not even related to WoW (ex: Cohh) are making jokes. So the reach has just spiraled into a much larger group, which means it will always be a big group of peoples "day 0/1" of finding out and wanting to create drama
Hes talked about it a few times
People find always things to whine about. Either in the gaming industry or everywhere
Otherwise, what about MMOs? MMOs are live service games, what happens if the company shuts down or decides they can't pay to run the game anymore?
was kinda disapointed cohh jumped in on that, ngl
It was more aimed on games that ''could be played single player'' and not MMOs
Also, it is possible to make it singleplayer, but who's gonna allocate a huge budget for old title to remove it from server and make it "client-side". Lot of people say Thor is bulding a strawman, but they are the ones actually doing it. "Just give the files and that's it, man."
What if developping tools to allow players to create servers for themselves after the game is shut down is too expensive, so much that the failing company can't afford doing it?
Iāll see if I can find a pants about it or something. Security products are hard to judge from their webpages.
wait, cohhcarnage has piled in too? thats...disappointing š¦
Also, if they use third partie add-ons/dependencies, they do not have the right to transfer those licences on
It's pretty telling when even cohh is clowning o nu
Especially since it just fuels the fire of people being like "even Cohh is making fun of him? He obviously must be evil and pissed off Cohh when on his show!"
I know a couple of games that offer to host their games than rather punish people for hosting
he's like the nicest guy ever
Yeah but with an MMO, you pay a subscription fee, so when the servers are shut down, you stop losing money. Whereas if you buy a game full price but can't use it once the servers are turned off, you've basically been robbed.
Guild Wars 2 isn't a subscription
What happens then?
Shoo nobody cares about your sarcasm
there is a clip where he said something along the lines of "you reap what you sow" .. i dont know if there is more context to it, but the clip was rly bad
Can you like, not. That joke wasn't even related to the WoW drama, just poor timing, just stop
Guys we gonna ignore that troll š
Good point. I don't know, I'm not a lawyer. I also don't like online games, so I'm not exactly unbiased.
ohh, another out of context clip being used to push an agenda by LSF? Why am I not surprised
That's the main issue. It's not that the SKG movement was impossible or wrong, it's that you can't have those kinds of doubts happen. It needs to be really really precise
It's exactly that yes
And that's what the main complaint from Thor was, it was too vague
thats good to hear!
If you can read sarcasm and a "listen" between the lines, you can just tell, even the I would say it's extremelly obvious when he's clowning on you, but some people still don't get it
Can you prove that was his point without making me check facts, so I can keep arguing that he was wrong though?! /s
Nah, we should get back on the much more important topic of his superhuman feet
While I do agree, I find it a bit hard to find the jokes to be "poor timing". Just seems like a childish kick someone when they are down. Which I expected a bit better of Cohh to do
If I was asked to, I would absolutely provide a stream with a timestamp for it. It's not even that hard to do
I know, I just had to meme on the previous convon:D
are the streams even available?
Once Cohh was filled in on the context behind it, he felt bad that LSF were using that clip as an agenda pusher when it wasn't his intention, as it was completely unrelated to the WoW drama.
probably some reupload but y'know
Aren't all his stream VODs on his Youtube Channel?
Thor did two videos on the SKG
jokes aside, theres actually two videos on his youtube channel where he lays his stance out
stream were deleted because there was pile of people going there and brewing awful shit
What the hell. I guess only the videos are available still
Ah ok, that is good to know. I tuned out of his stuff for a bit due to it so I didn't see that 2nd part. Though he had to have known it would get clipped / used by LSF
ok so there were too clips from cohh, in one some dude showed up saying he will defeat him with his intelligence and cooh said, i didnt know pirate was in the game, which was funny and seemed just like funny banter to me, just like when thor said the voice in rogue trader was punchable .. but the other one was "you reap what you sow" has someone seen that in context that makes it less shitty somehow?
stupid question because im dealing with someone in another discord, during the animal well longplay, what does thor say in regards to the community puzzle and him solving it?
ah ok, thats good to know, i hoped that was the case
it's the only gripe I have with his streams, I get why he deletes them but man, sometimes there are some donation i want to listen to
Funny banter was entirely what it was. People taking it to mean more than it actually was, prime Reddit behaviour.
Simple basic take, totally condemning the ridiculous BS people are doing.
I don't mind this dude using the subject to get his own views up. He's fair and calls out people harassing him for being jerks and weirdly obsessed over pixels.
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/6E3CNenN5v8
I genuinely think this whole thing is immature and childish. I can gather from this alone that most of these streamers and such don't actually know what grass is, nor a tree. Sending threats over a video game is the equivalent of robbing a bank and then wondering why you're getting arrested. Pointless.
yea, they are

Dear god sorry bud but we've literally had this conversation already. The Community puzzle was done as a community, at no point did Thor say he solved it singlehandedly
i just want to make sure on that, because "he not good at puzzle" argument
I agree and don't agree with him on the "Multiplayer communities often bring out the absolute worst in people". It's PvP that does that, not multiplayer communities in general
Just ask them to show their Defcon badges
You can ignore/block said person because if someone is bent on hate, no logical argument will help and you are just wasting your time and energy + Thor also asked the community not to argue or fight on his behalf š
Remove PvP from your game and more often than not people will be more chill
Love the takeaway
its one of the discord's regulars
slightly harder
Then just let them vent until theyfind something else to be mad about
And this is why Deep Rock Galactic is the most chill Multiplayer game I've played, its incredible
uff, were they afk in the dungeon or something <.< thats messed up
Can anyoen confirm if the ashes of creation clip was incorrect in terms of it was Thor who pulled it? before I confirm it was a different reason it pulled I have to confirm
We need more cooperative games. Stuff like Deep Rock Galactic
Also helldivers, to some extend
Every PvE focused game that have either side PvP or no PvP always have amazing communities
Honestly most of Reddit is a trash heap that you have to dig and sift through so deeply to find almost any information of value that itās nearly worthless.
Why do you care. It was entirely seperate to the WoW drama. Stop looking for things to dig up
As soon as you force PvP in one way or another, your community is going to be toxic
Just look at Dark Souls
That name is a CHOICE though.
@jolly sky before i defend him from ppl blaming him i want to make sure
there was like 3 times there was a weird pull in AoC that I've seen
oh jeez, no it looks like he pulled one by accident and iirc a tank in the back pulled another and that in combination killed them, thats it
so like ,you're gonna have to be more specific
god i hate people some days "he always pretends to solve everything on his own" per another person
if you're not gonna be ridiculous, you're fine
actually wait no I am thinking of one in wow
Donāt defend. Ignore haters and move on
I love co-op games, they're my favourite kind of games. You know what's a good co-op game and good game overall? RoboQuest. Play that shit people
Then think whatever you want to think of the clip. Don't outsource your thinking to other people from Discord, Reddit, Youtube, and especially not from specifically cut clips without context or anything afterwards
cheese is asking what happened then tho
dude, old game, but l4d is just classic
@jolly sky if i never played the game how would i know whats the real cuase which is why i wanted to ask.
without having watched the actual stream when all these different clips are coming from you will never get the context for the badly used statement
Then you canāt attack, nor defend, because you lack knowledge and you would rely on other peopleās opinion.
Donāt engage
best thing would be to watch it in the stream, most clips look much worse than the whole thing and you dont have to defend him from random haters, let it go, they will stop eventually even if its annoying @cedar geyser
Attack and Defend aren't your only 2 choices. Not doing anything is a choice, and it's the right one in this situation
There's been so much AoC play that it's hard to tell which particular moment is being asked about.
I'm guessing the AoC is over the parral parking ApexOnline incident during the bug reporting that they clipped without everything that happened before the in game "play" which only happened before the server wipe
@candid grove i agree, but i think getting verification from active players in Ashes of Creation would be a valid way to get insight. Last thing I want to do is say something which is incorrect
well a lot of the people here aren't active players either
Then, just don't say anything. Let it go. It's not worth your effort.
But this can also differ from person to person. No reason to get into it
You don't have to have a say in every situation
at some point there was just a weird pull that happened and I do remember thor being a bit pissed about it cause it led to a bunch of material loss
I bet it's that one
yea i am, i just wanted to ask everyone else its compeltly against him so i figured this would the best place to ask for verificaiton
Here people will defend thor, on LSF people will attack Thor. You are neither here nor there with this
dont take it the wrong way, most people here are just tired of the pointless drama
I think there was a clip then as well of a crystal from thor hitting an enemy, but they were already pulled at that point so it wasn't thor's crystal iirc
but I am not 100% on that
best would be to find the moment in the VOD but idk whether that VOD is still up
nor do I remember the day
And hell I'm not even defending him. I'm simply trying to bring a semblance of logic to these absolutely braindead thoughts that are coming here. If they made any sort of sense at all, I'd could see it their way, but they don't
dont think its worth the time tbh xD
have some delicious food instead
@cedar geyser let me show you how most of these arguments can look like:
Monstie Huntieeeeee
Is that potato-based?
You'll get more nuance here than on the internet, but from my lurking here people are just tired. Best of action I would choose to let it go.
I like co-op puzzle games most
Like Killing Floor 3. Where's my KF3 beta, TripWire?
nicely identified
God I hope that they've optimised it
thats rly good, very accurate xD
nuance is dead on the internet these days
The thing everyone forgets about this meme is that someone wrote that number, and they know whether it's a 6 or a 9.
BEHOLD, CHAT
I COME BRINGING PROGRESS ON BREAD
Kartoffelpuffer? Haven't had one in ages.
I hate that fact, why did you make me think about that
I did not know about Thor figuring out that ridiculous puzzle by himself. So if anything the hate against him just made me realize how smart he actually is
"Oh no there's drama involving one of my favorite streamers! What'd they do?" sees clips from a game I don't care about where said streamer made one bad call "ah cool so the nothing kind then"
1 Thor = 1 game community in intelligence
there are some good puzzles in heartbound
you mean the animal well one where it took weeks of community effort?
Ngl I'm sad heartbound got review bombed, I hope it doesn't get too bad lol
True, but still a small game having "mostly negative" on its front page with tons of people screaming that the game is never gonna be finished probably doesn't look good >_>
This was sad to see for me, I loved the animal well longplay
I mean technically you could argue Yamato violated German cyber bulling law of Insult (Section 185 of the Criminal Code) specifically with the aspect of "intentionally demeaning comments."
imagine going to prison because of a World of Warcraft beef lmao
He is overdue for an update. I believe when it happens it will bring a lot more people to the game, and a lot more of good reviews
thor goes offline for 3hrs and then "solves it on his own"
that type of horseshit
I mean, depending upon where you go to prison you get to play WoW (if I remember the article right, where prisoners were playing to sell gold for profit of the wardens) lol
a fate worse than death
legally required to play WoW
Even if he should do a proper update, doesn't he regularly program the game on stream? I feel like that should be proof enough he hasn't abandoned it lol
What's the problem with him solving it on his own time ?
Good lord why are they making up this nonsense
He never even said he solved it on his own
I think it would be fitting though, considering the toxicity. Even a fine, granted that would just stir up even more drama lol
He fully admitting to having only done it through community effort
I believe it has been a while! According to him, he is working on heartbound on the off stream days to not spoil it.
He also said he has less time to work on it since the channel blew up
on the longplay Thor said he is against "looking up a guide"
but that could mean for the smaller puzzles in game
rather than THE COMMUNITY PUZZLE
if you are talking about the one that REQUIRED the community to solve, he straight up said he found out it took more people and got the answer
didnt say he did it solo
Where does he say he looked up answers? We should have that clip so we can show the haters
the actual vods are lost to time
It's literally on the Longplay
He said it in his own words, coming from his own mouth. That he did it through community effort, because that's what it required.
he mentions it a lot when he would run past it, since he loved how it took community working together to solve and how NO ONE person could solve it
Yeah, he mentioned a few streams ago that he hadnāt been able to work on it over the last year because of the channel blowing up and needing to form a corporation etc. Edit: to add heās stated heās going to be working on it much more this year.
Well in that case I'm sure he'll update when he's ready, I really doubt he'd abandon something that big. He cares too much I think lol
Oh so it's been a total non-issue since the very beginning? Again
It's becoming a trend
i was there for the ashes clip, the enemy an question has a directional insta kill, if a tank had been present to get its attention, it would have not looked at the party and blasted them all

A game community of Primarily Dunkey fanboys 𤣠(haha fart jokes so funny) don't make me laugh. It genuinely would t surprise me if the Thors community has an average of 20 IQ higher than any other streamer. We watch him code in real time and that mitosis counts for something
I think the thing people are taking issue with are the parts where he makes mental leaps that should have required community effort but are presented as his own
Which ones?
Imagine how bored someone must be to look for things to hate all the time. Oh well
he did also sstate that he is putting together a video to put out regarding the heartbound situation. i am unsure when or where this will happen
We are not better, but we are very patient
someone linked this one https://youtu.be/zF4ijyCBARU?si=w7Uo-1-hxxSLRXBn&t=25120
he doesnt tell us we cant try to help, so a lot of people start saying things in chat, he reads chat and gets ideas.....its the whole monkeys type shakspear thing
wasn't dunkey only involved in the publishing? don't think the dev's intention had anything to do with the audience that primarily received it
Thor needed the year to figure how many more jam jokes and puns he could cram into the game so he could harvest the CO2 from our sighs
literally this.
Heās farming and weāre the crops
weird dunkey jab there earlier
this is edited, like a substantial amount is cut out here for the viewer
Who is anyone to judge how much effort it "should" take? Prime example, one person figuring out a speedrun skip by accident when the communities for those games have been looking for skips for years
I quite like Dunkey vids
and thats what ive been telling people
Ah, thanks. Didn't realize.
i think he spent 74 hours in the game
Even with the cuts, this doesn't look as suspicious as some people seem to make it out to be
70hrs to 7 is what i remember this by
I've done some unhinged shit on puzzle games like this with my friends
My favorite part of the video is watching Thorās mind slowly unravel
so its just cut down to problems and solutions with the sitting around thinking cut out
someone send the mods homemade bread
obiously an evil plot to make him look like a genius xD
I'm on it
Everyone agrees that the printer part was the best thing about Thor's Animal Well playthrough
I don't understand how unless you actually didn't watch it
We played with friends on stream recently throughout all of the Zero Escape games and we were theorizing and puzzling some very unhinged shit in this manner, even if it took us a while to do it
I really don't see the issue with this clip
we love thor thinking someone broke into his house
and its just 500 copies of an animal well puzzle printed out
dont forget the social fkry i mean social engineering story that Thor told on the Dropped Frames podcast
That was such a funny moment
When do the outrage tourists target his Omori playthrough because he isnāt depressed so he must have cheated
I saw cuts, didn't realize they were that significant. Can we please be civil
@the mods I have some warm, freshly made English muffins for you
Before anyone asks why they look so dark, I had to step away for a moment
it was quite the process to figure these things out
Came back to this nonsense
I member when people had unsecured wifi networks from their printers. Glorious times.
wait is the reason they think he's just looking up solutions because they are watching an EDITED longplay of the ~70-80 hours it took thor to beat the entire thing
Yep
š

omg
outsourced the critical thinking to the vacuum cleaner
lul
i mean it was already rly dumb, but this is just ridiculous
Nonsense. Vacuum cleaners are useful
oh no, i might die from laughing....please, send ferrets, need help
i did not realize people didnt know that
how silly
no elp
Wisdom has been trying to catch upto them their whole lives, but they've always been faster
The comments on that video, jfc. First person putting time stamps to "gotcha" Thor on cheating is like so obviously nothing at all that it blows my mind someone actually believes he cheated
I didn't quite realize it was this bad
nah man, even it were in the title, the top comment, and pinned xD doesnt matter, people cant read xD
to be fair I was already not expecting most of the complainers to have even watched the longplay
You could put it in bold, blinking letters in the title, nobody would care. They're not mislead, they're hateful and choose to turn a blind eye on whatever goes against their beliefs
(neither did I but I watched like 2 or 3 of the streams)
I was there for the printer moment
It's like if they asked you how you managed to cut your bread, you tell them a knife, they ask for proof, you show the knife and they go:
"But no, from where I'm seeing this knife is dull, there's no way you could've cut bread with it"
You cannot win
They are 100% just jealous
There is no point in arguing with people like this, we can just contemplate the idiocy from as far as possible
All the "fake voice" bs is proof
Frankly with dedicated outrage tourists like that, they could tell me the ocean has water and Iād be inclined drive to the coast to verify
I actually thought that was a meme and had to learn no, people actually believe he fakes his voice, lol, like wtf
Because thatās what this is: outrage tourism. Sightseeing different things to scream and violently unload the mud trumpet in their pants before moving on
And so incredibly easy to debunk
I only say it for the memes but rn is not a great time cuz the stream autobans for it atm
which fair enough
I remember seeing someone who posted a video he claimed to be in "good faith" and accused Thor of changing his voice on stream, showing a "proof" clip from like almost 10 years ago. You know, when Thor's voice didn't lower yet? Like he showed many times by showing clips of his very old streams?
But Thor DOES use a voice changer, he has to tone it up or Jesse Ventura will sue him for identity theft
Btw that person was in the opposing guild in his AoC server
yea its funny, i made the mistake to watch one of the analysis vids AND read the comments .. i know, i know .. i replied to one that he had swatting attempts and one asked me for proof .. yea dude, i hacked in thors phone and listened to the police call .. ultimate weirdos xD
An then when you give them an example, they will say "you sharpened the knife when i wan't looking!"
You cannot win.
some people realize how insane some of the stuff is and think NO ONE would do that, and dont look at it objectively and realize that just because you wouldnt go that far doesnt mean someone else wont
I feel most bad for the mods, this can affect their livelihood
I need to get that old āGood luck! Iām behind seven proxies!ā meme and change to Thor being behind 7 voice changers
considering stream viewership isn't exactly down or anything I don't think it affects it much
oh god dont remind me
I mostly feel bad for their mental state, having to defend against a hateraid for like over a week is not good for you
You know the quote that goes "Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience." that is often credited to Mark Twain even if it probably isn't from him?
Everytime something like this happens, it proves to be more and more true.
Yeah, I don't think it will affect much. Most of the people that were already watching him see this for what it is... nonsense.
thats when i drag them to the mudpit until they cry for mercy
I just lost the game
and then you did, how could you
Embrace the loss of the game, be moulded by it, become a cursed creature
Nah I just mock them and laugh
Nooooo...
where does the lost the game meme come from exactly?
How to uninstall The Game:
Step 1: Buy a drill
yakuza
how could you not know
cant believe it
Knowyourmeme says the 1990s
i have actually never played yakuza ^^
I want to, but they are long games
People have been losing the game since ancient times. It was roughly 30 years ago that it was first codified.
xD
same, not even defending anyone, just kinda pointing out their behaviour
From Knowyourmeme, regarding the Game:
In an article on The Daily Globe,[5] writer Justine Wettschreck stated that The Game originated in "the early 1990s" somewhere in Australia or England. An article by The Canadian Press[6] reported that The Game may have been created by London resident Jamie Miller, who claims to have started The Game in 1996. On August 10th, 2002, the earliest known reference to The Game online was featured in a post[4] published by blogger Paul Taylor titled "The Game (I lost!)", who claimed to have discovered it only six months prior.
I gotta say I love that term, "Outrage tourist"
It's perfect
When does the Game 2 come out?
You should, good and cheap, itās like watching a serious crime drama that pauses every now and then and you watch an episode of The Simpsons
they are kinda awesome, you can tell from who the got the outrage
I have⦠SERIOUS Yakuza brainrot
Pretty soon. It's said it will come out before Silksong
i know its on my wshlist, just havent come around to it ^^
I would love Thor to play to through the Yakuza series starting with Yakuza 0. Not sure they are his type of game though.
IRL needs to streamline its graphics i hear it only runs at like 30fps
I might be late to the party here, but TheScore put out a video on the whole drama that's going on.
It's actually quite good, and objectively describes the situation as it happened, as well as the fallout.
As you could imagine, the comment section is FREAKING OUT because the video didn't condemn Thor and his actions.
Good video, worth a look!
Oh, that's a long wait
@mint sorrel Good more reasonable people
I'm looking forward to him getting into Monster Hunter. I hope he plays some World before hopping into Wilds, but thats his choice of course
What, you don't think Thor would love the karaoke minigame?
someone who is not jumping to conclusions? thanks for info, man!
He'd love the meme moments, but people forget that Yakuza is VERY story heavy
not only that, it's not the story that ends in like 7 hours
im not even sure if i would chime in on this drama, even if i had that type of content brain .. you just put a mark on your back
Iām sure he knows a lot about the Yakuza games because of Onsta

what's their youtube channel called? i searched TheScore but it's a sport page talking about Hockey and basketball and all that
theScore esports, I think
Its so stupid and so hypocritical, they accusing him of looking stuff on his phone now from months ago, but here is literally one of the biggest Thor haters doing the SAME exact thing in Project zomboid https://www.twitch.tv/moonmoon/clip/TubularBlazingRamenRaccAttack-lZi15-11UPGMhm50 Like why the hate? Thor has never attacked him
To quote an original song from an amazing metal cover artist
"You're either with us, or you're against"
summary for every drama topic over the last 5 years to be fair
You mean over the last 5000 years?
the comments on that are wild .. what a wholesome community
TheScore eSports
well...just for contexts sake that clip from Pre Dire Maul drama of Thor talking about a bad mage who's gameplay made him 'physically ill' that went around, the mage he was talking about was MoonMoon.
https://youtu.be/uLg419ASx6c?si=x3k4ea9_20PTJbUp
Dropping the video for y'all who are interested
Streamer PirateSoftware has been kicked from OnlyFangs after a Dire Maul run that included his mage went bad, resulting in the deaths of two hardcore characters.

Breakfast
The thumbnail is sketch AF, not gonmna lie! xD
kinda meant the internet, when the trend of excessive cancel culture started to take bigger form, but you are absolutely right
Online drama crap got so much worse when shortform content finally caught on. No context, all bandwagon, instant gratification.
I blame twatter
140 characters, enough to say X sucks, not enough to provide any context.
Twitter was the start for sure but it got so much worse once it hit videos
At least Vine never became that before it shut down
I think one thing people don't realise is that evolutionarily, we're still in tribe mode. Our brains are still wired for small social groups, "The Village", and have been in that mode for 10's of thousands of years.
We haven't evolved far enough as a species to properly communicate and understand the other "Tribes" of the world, yet we have full access to almost all of them if we so choose. But technology has "brute forced" us into this way
I kinda don't bother with "tribes" lol. Discord, forums and small blogs all the way.
It really does mess you up when you have to deal with thousands of people throwing raw emotion at you.
Pretty balanced take... but I would refute that Thor didn't show any remorse or say he could have played better. He's said on stream (and in Tweets) that he played badly and the only one that didn't was the healer - this is something a lot of haters have overlooked in their search for an "apology". So there are some important details missing.
Yea, thats something that people either still don't want to accept for some reason, or leave it out of clips, either intentionally or unintentionally.
Views wise i assume its intentionally
I miss twitch chat being good faith viewers
I think a lot of it is just a lack of media literacy, tbh
Many people were telling him "Dude you could've just admitted you didn't wanna die" when he literally did less than 10 minutes after it happened. It's just people jumping on a bandwagon not even knowing where or why they're on it
"The absolute first thing to do is to very quickly explain why any of this matters." But it doesn't matter.
I checked both videos about SKG and they are really clear and I agree with them, again, weird how people take it out of meaning,
Also I really like Ross (from the Freeman's mind series) and sad to see him doing this like this, especially the part of "hey this is good for politicians to have an easy win and distract people from other issues" like... dude.
But that won't make me hate Ross either, just stick with his funny stuff, lol.
Indeed, I agree that there are pieces missing. Although due to the format you can't really add every single piece of context neither. Comments are fuming over the fact that every single out of context LSF clip hasn't been added to build up their case, so it cuts both ways.
Probably because they are "out of context". If they had any validity, then they should be included. But they don't.
And also lets not forget he was being shouted and blamed for following the instructions of the Shot Callers initial call.
Like imagine you had a job stacking shelves, and you were asked to do that. You complete that job, and then you come back to the manager and they shout at you for doing that job. Would you feel in an apologetic mood? I sure wouldn't.
I don't play WoW, even less hardcore WoW, but I can understand the stakes of losing a lvl60 char pretty easily.
Those shot calls when that happen were worthy of a Platinum Overwatch lobby
(Oh and by the person who was pretty much just a cameraman during the retreat)
Plat seems a bit generous
I don't know how anyone who made shot calls could ever take any stance of superiority for what happened
Do you know what I think triggered the internet the most from this situation? The very moment Thor became Heisenberg?
It's when he left the convo with Yamato because he was screaming. In the Internet's logic, you have to argue to your death and walking away from someone who obviously cannot argue or doesn't want to argue is cowardly.
What they don't realize is that's the mature thing to do.
yea i can see that, the debate mentality
I'm not absolutly sure but I'd believe it.
does anyone know if the beta progress from MH Wilds will carry over to main game?
I can't be sure either, it's just my personal theory after all
watching pyros video on the wow drama and GOD DAMN IT GOES DEEP
So to provide more context we must reduce the time of the clips to 5 seconds
That's not what a debate should be. It shouldn't be two people with opposing viewpoints arguing until one of them concedes defeat. A debate is supposed to be two people discussing something and trying to come to an agreement.
thinking about it in a guild solely fueled by "content" you are probably right.
I'm lookin at it, it seems only char apperance
If even politicians can't do it, I don't expect people on the internet to do it either
i know ^^ dont tell me that ^^
Or how dare someone decide they are too worked up, will not tolerate being screamed at and aggressively accused of things they dont believe they are responsible for, and leave the conversation.
But cmon since when are WoW sweats mature adults? Ever?
ok, thanks

Too late, and I couldn't possibly have known š
watch the video to understand how NUTS people were . . .I . . .I got scared
how'd you get spooked?
all good ^^
Thor mentioned swatting and people telling him they'd stab him at blizzcon and stuff
Someone threated to S/A Thor
Is this an actual nuanced sensible video on it, or more sensationalised nonsense?
Yeah it's that bad.
Is it really worse than people sending death threats? It's sad to say but welcome to the internet
its a good video THAT THOR gave permission to make
. . .trust me . . .
Just because its common doesnt mean its acceptable or should be tolerated.
I never said it is or that it should
Are those macaques getting sued for the threats?
But the reality is, what are we going to do about it? Report the people who are at fault is the best way to go about it
But no matter how much you do it, people will keep doing it
Twitch knows, and they're getting banned, minimum.
It's the internet, you can't win against the internet no matter if they're in the right or wrong
Receiving death threats is basically part of the job if you're a personality on the internet
Never said it was right, but it's how it is today
that's kinda why Vtubing is a thing
i hope twitch will do something, but im not really confident something meaningful will happen
A slap on the wrist. Ban is appropriate for insults, but threats of violence go a couple of steps further and should warrant lawsuits. Emphasis on "should", of course...
The only reason thats how it is, is because people feel safe behind their screens to do and say whatever they want, and are used to doing so without consequence.
I also hope that the people who sent him Death Threats via DM's inside WoW get their accounts wiped from the face of the earth
And so saying this is just how it is and there's nothing to be done about it perpetuates the problem
Yep, and as long as it's like this, it's going to keep happening. But if you remove that anonymity, it's a much bigger and complex debate to have that I don't feel qualified to be a part of
I agree
sigh It's getting late, stay cool everyone. Good night.
Thor already said he reported them, just wait folks like 4 big time streamers are gonna be banned. My money is on Quin and faker
With thor Still having buds in blizzard . . .yeah all those users are screwed
Even if he didn't , they'd still get banned from WoW permanently. They don't take actual threats lightly.
I never said there's nothing to do about it. We cannot do anything about it. Have you ever tried convincing the entire internet to do something? It's just not realistic, that's not how things work
I don't like that the internet is like this, but the internet is like this
the comments of the video
You can make sure it doesn't happen in your own sphere as much as possible, that's all you can control
But you can't control everything
I dont understand the audacity of using the internet to harass someone with defcon levels of hacking skills, and even more so doing it in a game that he helped develop....
but does anyone know what Ja Rule thinks too?
i think we should use necromany and ask ghandi what he thinks, thats a useful way to spend ressources right? ^^
at least some people get it ^^
I mean technically depending upon where they are located - it is against the law for cyber bullying. Example - Insult (Section 185 of the Criminal Code) for those in Germany (like some streamers) or if they are in UK, etc
I think my main issue with the whole thing is that other creators saw what was going on in thier chats and just let it happen
It sucks death threats are not taken more seriously though by gaming companies. Ex whispers thor got should be taken seriously and their info given to police by Blizzard
Or encouraged it and riled up their rabid fanbases....
Of course, and this comes back to what I said, you can control what happens in your own sphere as much as you can. But you cannot do it to the whole internet.
that should earn you a good ole visit from the FBI serious or not
Death threats suck ass, they suck gigantic ass. But they're just sadly going to stay for a while

hearing them, it sounds like they are coming from 14-15 year olds who don't understand consequences yet
look at this, thor must have that voice changer installed into his throat or something xD
I wish, but I've spent enough time on the internet to know that a lot of those come from grown ass adults
creators are also responsible for what goes on in their chat so twitch at least need to give out some pretty stiff discipline to some creators
naw it's a ferret in his throat giving him such a deep voice
People can be unhinged
the one recording pyro played on video though is a dead ringer though
Well time for a welcome to real world situation. If you can get arrested for making a death threat on 4chan, you should get arrested for making death threats in video games to public figures
Don't forget the microphones at the streamer awards that were modified behind the scenes by Thor
I haven't watched that vid, I was giving my overall opinion of how death threats usually go from my experience
people forget that "hyping up your chat to go disrupt someone elses chat" is targeted harassment. I swear none of these streamers actually understand the TOS
Remember that quote from Men In Black. "A person is smart, people are dumb, panicky dangerous animals"
Or the one with Estfan in the football stadium lol
I've seen these guys play mental gymnastics trying to decide that this wasnt considered harassment or hate raids, cause nobody used the raid feature on twitch
yea those were the weirdest takes xD just why
They can't be in the wrong
I just find it funny since it goes further than TOS in a lot of countries. Like Germany (where Yamato is) has some strict laws around it.
People just think you can say whatever you want on the internet with no consequence or penalty.
It's a "Are we the baddies?" moment
Yea, like he was live for many many hours. Even if it isn't a voice changer, but theoretically if he was "putting on a voice" for that many hours, his vocal cords would have been wrecked not only during the stream, but for days afterwards
Or more accurately "Am I out of touch? No it's the children who are wrong"
why do you think people were "uncomfortable"
they really know they could actually get in trouble, that's why
Which would then effect the $$$$$$$
Do you think Thor would play dragon-age Vailguard?
They didn't tell their community to directly go and hate / raid Pirate so it totally can't be hate raiding. Let's ignore that they spend all this time bashing him as a person (not just gameplay) and spreading rumors (abuse of ferrets, etc). Totally not anything they can control! /s
i mean, imagine getting bao, the streamer awards, random people who met him on irl channels, to implement this feature š
and all those people lying on his behalf for some reason
the same people just accept their 11 cents per dayt ad revenue, because their content is not advertiser friendly
It's worrying that some decide to believe some or all of that, and that its not just memeing. Some peoples Mental Gymnastics are worthy of the Olympics
I wholeheartedly agree.
He's not as smart as he wants people to believe, but he apparently is smart enough to convince everyone around him to lie for him
Sure, great argument Reddit
I doubt it will happen but I will laugh if Yamato gets in legal trouble over this (Section 185 of the Criminal Code). Would be awesome to see this "accountability" everyone is high roading about happen.
LMAO
i doubt that too, but mh it would be lovely
It feels like this whole thing is taking a long time to deal with on twitch's part
You see Pirate is just that good a hacker. He hacks any person he collabs with first! š§
almost every single account i've seen involved in this, is related to the european viewerbase, so that very easily shows you, anbd when you start checking chat logs, you cans see where they come from
I hope he plays some of World to like, get himself back into it, and I also hope gets to play with the friendly crew he made through OnlyFangs
Whats Ur choice of substance @prisma kraken ?
Thor and Hubert slaying monsters. Sounds like a sick series
Well yea. A lot of big revenue streamers are involved. They are hoping it blows over.
also, can we not forget, i have a doppelganger in stream chat?
Has he ever played Albion? I would be interested to see if he likes it
I wouldnt be suprised if China is doing something, they already try to do Psy ops with Tik tok and Thor is literally a black badge hacker so I wouldnt be surpised
im a bit bitter that other people get players killed in raids, there's an ongoing joke about how tyler gets healers killed and sillyanne died and her and chat are joking that tyler killed her by taking a day off, but pirate gets people killed and thousdands turn against him
Hubert (Kristofer incase you didn't know) Annie, Winky, Redzy, that'd be hype
Thats why
While it was a shit show, I wouldnt say it was him that specifically got them killed. Not committing to running got them killed.
Yes but Tyler has been a meme for a long time and people like to shit on him for jokes, and he plays into it himself, even if he tries to keep actual toxicity away from this community
